Waste of Time
Oct 2019 • Solo
Went to see a movie at this cinema tonight (Saturday). Discovered they do not employ people out front selling tickets anymore, you have to go to the snack counter to purchase your ticket. If you are someone who is not interested in purchasing snacks, 15 to 20 min of your time is wasted standing in line. When businesses like this choose to waste my time I choose not to go back.

Look for the RPX (Regal Premium Experience) icon
Jul 2019 • Family
What is RPX? It's just a new big screen movie format launched in some Regal Cinemas, like this one, that provides a "premium" movie-going experience. Similar to IMAX, RPX theaters offer a larger screen, better seating with more cushioning, and a much louder sound system than in a standard theater.

My son wanted to see Lion King on opening weekend. The other movie theaters in the area were all selling out so we went to this one in Beavercreek since there were still good seats remaining. This theater is reserved seating only.

We attended an 8PM standard 2D showing and paid $12.75 for an Adult and $9 for a Child ticket. The prices are comparable to nearby theaters in the area. Inside the theater was packed and the people sitting behind us talked throughout the movie. No respect for others. The seats were not as comfortable as I would have liked. They are not recliners like in the other area theaters. It was warm and stuffy with little air circulation.

Children here are considered to be ages 3-11. Matinee showings are before 4PM where adults can save $3 off their tickets. RPX adult tickets are $17.75 and $14 for children. Matinee adult RPX tickets before 4PM can also be purchased for $3 less.
