We were still talking about it during our evening meal. The bike trains carried up to 5 people , you need two fairly fit people for the cycling. The train going downhill gives you the feeling of a runaway train , scary but thrilling. The climb back up hill was hard but well worth it. There's not many activities that... More

I took a ride, and pedaled as well, on the velorail about 4 years ago. It was great! A bit scary on the way down because you are going quite fast, but quite a thrilling experience in all. Be prepared to pedal on the way back - luckily I could count on my husband to do most of the work.... More

An original way to visit the region although we did not expect the level of physical effort required, especially on the way back (uphill). Kids enjoyed it but make sure you're fit enough to cycle and bring water!

We went as it looked like something good to do. Basically carts on an old railway line that you peddle. You need a minimum of two people (to peddle) but the cars take a maximum of 5. To peddle you must be over 12. I would say you need to have a certain level of fitness as you need to... More
