Our management team spent an hour in the funeral home room. It was very challenging but a lot of fun! The room was a very challening room, required coordination and team work. There were a few surprises along the way. I'd recommend this room!

We went to the Fargo Escape room on a whim. My friend brought it up for something to try and booked 9 tickets online. We did the Homecoming room and there ended up being 11 of us (we all knew each other, but would be fun with anyone). We got pretty warm, but had a blast. They give great instructions and ideas.
Go to the bathroom before hand, you are locked in for an hour, yes there is a panic key, but who wants to use that!!
It was chaotic at times, goofy, stressful and plenty of "what the" and laugh out loud moments! Locks to open, items to find, rooms to locate, all set up quite well and was very entertaining. You can ask for hints that cost a minute each, they buzz you if you are doing something you shouldn't, no lifting, no climbing, nothing physically stressful just your brain doing overtime! We did not win, but had our last key in hand in the last 30 seconds . . . darn it!
I plan to bring the kids next time. Saw on their FB page that there was a 10 year old's birthday party there - what a great idea!! Also going to see about a work sponsored team building exercise - how cool would that be!
Try it, you won't be disappointed. . . And Good Luck!!!

We were looking for things to do in Fargo on trip advisor and came across this place. My son had heard of it and we decided to give it a try. We did their newest room, The Homecoming. It was very challenging and fun. My youngest child is only 10 and she did very well and was able to contribute. The teenage kids did great. The clues were very clever and the host was wonderful. I would highly recommend this experience to any group or family with kids over 10. I want to try another room soon as part of an adults night out.

My husband I decided to try out the Fargo Escape Room this weekend. I had played once before in Topeka KS with a group of friends. My husband had never played. We had so much fun Friday night that we decided to try it out again Saturday. The first game we played was the Home Coming Escape and it was super hard for two people. We were defeated. Didn't even come close to escaping. I would definitely recommend playing this one with a larger group. The game we played on Saturday was the C.A.T.S. Escape. It was simpler and would've been more fun to play with less people. We were put into a group with a bunch of strangers (we didn't realize we would be put with others since the first one we tried was just my husband and I). It definitely wasn't as fun. And I was kind of annoyed that we were charged the same price for playing with others as we were for playing by ourselves. It should be cheaper for larger groups. Especially if you are put with people you don't know. And I would've liked to have known that's how it was going to be before I booked and pre-payed. It was crowded and I didn't get to solve much because of it. It's still worth a go if you would like a fun date night or group/family outing. But if you don't like the idea of playing with strangers definitely check on that before you pay.

Eight of us - smart, confident, outspoken, HUMBLE (LOL) - women thought we'd crash this party and break it wide open, because come on, "it can't be THAT hard, right?!"
Epic last words.
We failed, and I'm sure the fellow watching us on closed camera was laughing his ever lovin' butt off.
Okay, so this has been absolutely no help so far. Details:
When we got there, we got our instructions: what you can do/ what you can't do.
There are red herrings all over the place. I'm not going to tell you much about what went on because it's just something you need to experience yourself, but let me say that the level of complexity these guys go through to make you look for clues and then piece things together so you can find the next clue....yeah, just WOW.
This whole thing is very elaborate. Puzzling. Maddening. SOOOO FUN!
For those who are concerned about feeling claustrophobic, I feel comfortable saying that I think most people would be totally fine. There are two puzzles you can choose from. We picked "FRAMED" and it was actually an office setting with a desk, sofa, and reclining chair, so it's not like it was a tiny little dark box of a room they put you in. They also give you a "panic button" in the form of a key to the room in case there is an emergency.
You are allowed HINTS, but they cost you. During our instructions last night we were informed that so far, no group has made it out of the room without at least one hint.
We used 4 and we still ran out of time. Afterwards, the guy who was watching our every move (so he could give us hints wherever we were in the process) walked us through the answers so we could see how the trail meandered.
Very very impressed. Will for sure go back and try the other puzzle. Great fun!

Had the best time trying to crack the clues and solve the puzzles to make it out of the Escape Room before our hour was up. Adrenaline was running high the entire time as we worked as a team. We came so close! I'll definitely be going back to try another room. Best time ever! I think I'm addicted after only one visit. See you soon Fargo Escape Room!

Went for a work event and everyone had a great time! We did Homecoming 2 and we were SO close to escaping! Definitely recommend going with a bigger group for this room! You'll need the extra mind power! We needed just a couple more minutes! The rooms are really well put together: great props and staging, challenging clues, helpful hints! Everyone here was great! Two thumbs up! We left trying to figure out when we could go again!

This was a great activity for us with our teenagers. It took all of our minds to figure it out, but we completed our mission. Fargo Escape room staff were great. Highly recommend.

Did this as a group of 6 people with significant escape room experience. They were able to accommodate a custom booking for us, and the place was easy to find, well laid out, and clean. We did the "Framed" room, and thoroughly enjoyed it. The puzzles were clear, with only minimal distractions in the room, and we found the puzzles to be a good difficulty level. What we especially liked was that there were no gimmicky puzzles that acted up, or caused difficulty to unlock. Good, solid equipment in the room. The hint system was good if you needed it. The staff was great, but the prices were slightly above average for escape rooms, but maybe on par with local market, tough to say. I'd go back and do the other rooms. I only wish the rooms were physically larger, or a secondary room to the puzzle; we found it slightly cramped with 6 people in there.

We would like to do this as a group. How many people per room, how many rooms are there and are they all the same puzzle?
Written July 31, 2016
Check out their webpage FAQs. I'd give you the answer however in case they change it's best to get it from the source. :)

What kind of age group is this for?
Written September 15, 2015
We recommend ages 14 and up but trust parents to know whether or not their child will enjoy the experience. There is nothing of an "adult" nature in our currently active rooms. Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
