We had such a great time visiting Bonanzaville!! There is a vast array of buildings ranging from old RR depots to school houses to banks. All of the buildings have been well-preserved and stocked full of historical artifacts people of any age will appreciate. Simply one of the best museums we have visited...Well done Cass County Historical Society!!

Been here many times in the last 25 years. Always an enjoyable experience. It seems now that several of the buildings need a major overhaul, understandable considering their age. Sadly, the old Thule store was torn down a year ago, and the old jail, I believe from Wheatland ND is gone as well. The Furnberg store was closed for rehabbing, as was one or two others, so things are being worked on. There is still plenty there to see and enjoy. Still, we had a good time and will be back. A lot of North Dakota history here, make sure to spend some time in the main building. Recommended when you're in the Fargo area.

There is so much to see here. We spent about 2 1/2 hours looking through things and we didn't take our time. Each building has a history of its own and the displays inside generally correspond with what was originally in there. My favorite building was the first home in Fargo, while my husband loved the buildings with old tractors and model trains. There is even a person you will learn about that survived the Titanic sinking. Great place to learn about area history and check out some super collections. Set aside 3 hours or more to get through things. We were there during COVID restrictions, so would have loved to check out their gift shop too, but it was closed.

The place is awesome. There is so much history there. It is so great to see old buildings restored and to be able to see how towns were once designed. There attention to detail is totally amazing.
