The turnoff to this lookout is well signposted, and turns right off the highway several kilometres on the way to Coffin Bay. The road is sealed with an easy gradient. I had some hesitation about visiting here: obviously a very distant view! But it was great: Boston Island, Port Lincoln township, across to the Conservation Park and Mount Stamford, and west towards the coast. My most memorable moment was coming over the final rise to the carpark: a long low wall, and the panoramic view spread out before us.

Absolutely stunning views. Both over the gulf and over the valley on the opposite side of the carpark. Plus, if you enjoy horses, there are some paint horses in a paddock near the carpark. Remember to take a jacket, though, as the breeze is rather cool up there.

The viewpoint is not far from the city. The view of Port Lincoln is good, even if it is cloudy. We went twice for a short stop and both times it was a nice view. It is worth spending a few minutes at this viewpoint.

Excellent views of Port Lincoln from here. It was super windy when we came and rained a little too. We managed to capture a beautiful rainbow. Great spot to take pictures.

Today was our day to look around Port Lincoln so after stopping at Del Giorno for our coffee and a bit of a read we followed the map we had been given at the Visitor Information Centre to find Winter Hill Lookout for these great views over Port Lincoln. We weren't disappointed and tried to get as many photos as we could before the wind and cold wore us down. Spectacular views that let you see the outline of the coast around this beautiful area.

Went for a drive up to the lookout and was very impressed with the magnificent views. Some interesting little things to explore and the perfect place on lovely sunny day.

Our friend took us to this look out to see the view of port lincoln. It was the best place to see the aerial view of port lincoln. So quiet and peaceful place.

Located close to town, the lookout offers good views over Port Lincoln and surrounding districts. Probably not worth it if the weather is poor. No facilities.
