Great day out with our 7 and 10 year old. Kids loved being able to feed and pat the kangaroos, rabbits and guinea pigs. The highlight though would be the feeding of the koalas. We have never seen koalas so alert and active, and the...More
Glen Forest was incredible. So many animals that were obviously happy and well cared for. The kangaroos are so tame and relaxed. Our toddler had the best day here and will not stop talking about it. We also had a fabulous time exploring.
Had such a fantastic day at Glen Forest Animal Park. Entry is $15 per person, Feed is $2 a bag, and you can feed all the animals - Rabbits, Guinnea Pigs, Baby Lamp, Alpaccas, Kangaroos, Birds, etc. So many animals, and you can get up...More

We were on a tour we arranged through the Port Lincoln tourist bureau. (Taste of eyre 1/2 day tour) We were on cruise ship and booked our tour prior to arrival privately. 1/2 the price of cruise ship shore excursions! It is a fair way from cruise terminal and no way to get there except tour or perhaps hire a car for day. Port Lincoln locals are very friendly and welcoming when cruise ships in port so should be able to find a way to get there. Email the tourist visitors centre and they will provide you with info.
