We drove to the are and there are dirt roads that are super corrugated and should not be attempted without four wheel drive vehicle. We got out and thought about our picnic but kept going to September beach. If you love camping and hiking this would be nice. Rugged.

Situated in the Lincoln National Park (with $12 entrance fee per car), this hike to the Matthew Flinders monument is well worth the effort. With good access by footpath, the views from the top are stunning.

Good little short walk through beautiful scrub with a decent view at the top. Suitable for families. There's a little picnic area and toilets at the bottom too
