We got a 2 month permit to visit the national parks, this one being one of them. To see the coastline and views back towards Port Lincoln one needs to stop at a campsite or pullover spot to get to the waters edge. The views are beautiful. However, unless one has a lot of time to drive from bay to bay (aprox 18km) between some of the bays, there is not a lot to see en route on the gravel road. It is perfect if one is looking to get a campsite away from it all or go for one of the hiking trails, or bird watching. In summer probably great to find a private beach to swim at. But take your swim shoes as there are razor fish/clams there.

This is a beautiful National Park with camping available. Sadly campers in the park pollute the campsites with wet wipes they have used when going to the toilet. Surely people could take their rubbish with them. If we expect people to pick up after pets then surely they could take away their rubbish in a bag. These wipes and toilet paper are disgusting. Sadly this happens in many places.

Just a short drive from Port Lincoln, all sealed roads will take you to the car park for the Stamford Hill Lookout. Very well defined track leads up to the look out, with interpretative sign posts along the way. It’s like following in the footsteps of Mathew Flinders. Great views from the top. We walked this trail in August and were greeted with wildflowers. Decided to do the loop walk, the trail starts behind the monument, the trail is not well maintained or sign posted with some rocky and slippery sections.

Thankfully the sun came out and our day wasn’t too bad. We’re able to enjoy a number of stops and the unsealed roads were easy to drive along. Wish we had more time would have to loved to explored more. Note this park is very much scrub land and coast, there is not a lot else to see but we enjoyed it more then expected.

Even if it's cloudy is it worth to visit of Wanna lookout. We had a cloudy, windy day and the sea was stormy. The scenery with the rugged coastline and the wedding cake island was just beautiful with the rough waves. It was a good stop to see the amazing coastlines and rough waves and to feel the elemental force of the sea.

Drove to Memory Cove Lincoln National park - absolutely incredible. Put this on your must see bucket list..... Be prepared though it is protected by a rough and rugged long dirt road. (About 40km each way) needs a good hard 4by4 to get you there - but so worth it. Don’t forget too - you need to visit the Port Lincoln visitors centre to collect a key. Only 12 cars allowed into memory cove in a day. Make sure to see this place !!

Very convenient for Port Lincoln. Some good spots can be accessed by 2wd, but 4wd recommended to see the best.
I rode my gravel bike from Port Lincoln to September Beach. Great ride, to a great spot.
Vicious sand flies, though!

We visited Lincoln National Park on a tour when we docked at Port Lincoln. Besides the striking scenery, the park has something for everyone including beaches, sand dunes, camping, swimming, and nature walks. It is located on the south-eastern part of the Eyre Peninsula and overlooks the largest natural harbor in Australia, the Boston Bay. Recommend.

Spent a day driving/walking around different parts of the park. Nothing spectacular really. Not even any great beaches. If you're on a limited time schedule head over to Coffin Bay instead.

Surfleet cove had large sites, a good distance apart, drop toilets and amazing views with beautiful clean blue water. Loved our few days there and would go back in a heartbeat. Caught squid off the rocks and others caught whiting. A top spot!! Close enough to town to stick up if you need to. Lots of other well planned camps available.

it's relatively flat if you park your van in the lower section, good shade, flat sites, protected by trees and roughly 50 yards from the water, if this area is full then you will have to camp up the hill a bit and the walk will be roughly 300 mtrs.....if you're not camping then the carpark is an easy 50 yards walk
