This is quite fun, worth going if you are passing. Your passengers will only be fooled by the optical illusion if you arrive from the East and they are all looking out of the front. Otherwise it's obvious that you are just rolling downhill.

It was founded in around 1930 when someone had a flat tyre and discovered it rolled up hill to him instead of down hill. ( or did it) you will have to come and see for yourself

A lot of fun! Kept my family entertained as we rolled up and down for half an hour. Our teenage daughter is still gobsmacked by it a week later. Definitely worth checking out, not to mention the wildlife you'll come across along the way.

we've done this twice now in two different cars and it does work if you follow the instructions on the sign. it's just a bit of fun on a nice drive. I've heard that some of the locals call it "Bulldust Hill" for a laugh.

Nice drive out of Peterborough into the hills with a bit of fun at the end. Is on dirt roads, but do not need 4WD.

I drove 16km off road and off our route to get there and it's 30 minutes of my life I'll never get back. Unless you are visually impaired, it quite clearly looks like you're pointing uphill, and sure enough when you put it in neutral...More
