The Museum is wholly owned by its members for the benefit of the community, and to preserve the history of its people for the generations to come. We are open every day from 8.30Am to 5.00Pm except Good Friday and Christmas day. Come and have a wander and spend quality time reflecting on the past. You will probably find things with which you can identify, and remember. Just ask your children what a wringer washer is, chances are they won't know, and here's your chance to show them!

The museum itself (as opposed to the restaurant next door) is an interesting collection of old bits and pieces you would find in a variety of sheds around Australia. The kids found a few things interesting like the old telephones and computers.

The family went for a look around the museum after a good lunch next door. There appears to be some confusion with some other reviews here, as the restaurant and the museum are independent entities. The museum is community run and volunteers have done a...More

Dknt be fooled but its seamingly simple layout. Take your time. Check every cranny. There is Plenty to see in this smaller but stocked museum. Marvel at the Labour intensive gadgets ( current day standards ) that 50 years ago made life easier than doing...More
