On tour and our bus parked nearby. Spotted 'The FruChocs Shop' sign and headed inside. I'd frankly never heard of Menz but was soon acquainted with a great range of products in the store. The tasty samples handed over at the door on entry certainly titillated the tastebuds. Not cheap but then probably not mass produced like the brands that we are familiar with. A few purchases including Bumbles Honeycomb and FruChocs to enjoy on the cruise

Well set out, easy to find what you're looking for and reasonable prices. It is a great place for kids to visit...both old and young! I bought some black cats for my adult son's birthday, but they didn't make it to his birthday, so I had to go back and buy some more. Ooh wah! Highly recommend a visit as one of your activities in Mclaren Vale.

While at McLaren Vale, we were told to see The Menz FruChocs Shop Outlet, you are able to see them make the confectionery and chocolates there, some of the machines are original and are 100 years old. Behind the glass there is a collage made from different coloured chocolate and confectionery, very lovely. You can purchase the products, teashirts, caps, and soft toys, also they sell factory seconds, I bought a packet of each snakes, turkish delight and pineapple covered in chocolate.

First time I had seen or heard about FruChocs ! Pleasantly suprised and amazed by the choice of treats available,interesting store with plenty to keep you occupied history of the company and original machines on show ! Tastings and much more. Hope to find some in NSW !

finishing a trip down main street is the very tasty Fruchocs shop.
a boutique chocolate lovers delight, with chocolate mixed with nuts galore, flavours, mints fruits and much much more.
tasting plates were floating around and all the staff were happy and very welcoming.

On tour of the area, made a short stop at this local shop. Wide variety of chocolate products particularly honeycomb. Tried some samples. Staff helpful. Not expensive, left with a few products.

I took an interstate visitor who has never had the pleasure of eating fruchocs. The lady there was absolutely brilliant in telling her all about them and giving her tastes of different flavours. Needless to say a few packed away in her suitcase to take home.

We love fruchocs and love the fruchoc factory. Its interesting watching how the fruchocs are made and our son loved all the interactions, pressing the bottons to star the machines. There are lots of free tastings and we were so suprised to be given a free small bag of fruchocs. They have a Fruchocs Greetings dress up photo booth with lots of different costumes, so entertaining for the whole family. We dressed up with different hats, wigs and sunglasses and took so many great photos, now thats a great capture. It was so much fun. So many great chocolates and treats. We loved everything about Fruchocs.

Be prepared for chocolate and lolly overload! There is some machinery on display with buttons to press to see how they work, as well as a large mural made from their products. We were offered a free tasting of a product. We had two children with us; both had a voucher for a free bag of FruChocs. We expected a small sample bag but they were each given a full sized one by the very friendly lady in the shop. Be prepared - it will be way too hard to choose what to buy.
