This would have to be one of the prettiest winery settings in the Vale. Has an awesome outlook over the valley. Staff were very friendly and helpful with their wines. Has some outdoor sitting areas where you can relax and take in the views. Wines are a little expensive though.

This winery has one of, if not the most beautiful, outlooks of all in McLaren Vale. The cellar door was hosting an art show when we visited and this made our visit all the more interesting. Kays makes one of the most delectable muscats I've ever tasted and this was what brought me back again with interstate visitors. They enjoyed... More

A must visit place every time I come to McLaren Vale. The so called new tasting area did not look that much different from the old one as the layout remains pretty much the same. The staff is still the friendly ones. Cannot leave without getting my favourite Block 6 and Rare Muscats.....

The location and views were fantastic and we loved the walk through the history of the 4 generations, it was really interesting! The blonde lady (Jenny?) was amazing! Such a friendly lady with great knowledge on the wines and the history. The wines were great too, especially the port and muscat! However, 1 staff member left us with a sour... More

Super friendly and helpful staff. Great wine, good times. The Tawney is my suggestion to try at this winery. They have a few choices.

Wow these wines are superb. McLaren Vale doesn't appear to be as popular as the Barossa Valley but a visit to Kay Brothers for a tasting is a must. Beautiful surroundings and would be great for a picnic. The staff were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I am certainly not a wine connoisseur but these ladies didn't mind - they took... More

This producer doesn't disappoint after many years of turning out high quality reds. Top of the hill, so great views, and nice story behind the business. Top wines.

Kay Bros is a "must-see" when touring the vineyards of the Southern Vales in South Australia. When you get out of the car, take a minute to appreciate the sweeping views. Then go inside and taste the wine. The wine has wonderful flavour and body. There are plenty to try, and the bar staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Take time... More
