Tasty wine in a lovely environment
We had the lovely Rebecca as our guide and her enthusiasm for wine was infectious and our whole group got into the wine tasting. She was very knowledgeable and injected lots of humour into her presentation. Very good wine and tasty food in the restaurant. Highly recommended

    Excellent wines, beautiful location
The winery is well laid out with beautiful buildings, garden areas, and an explanation of its history. The wine tasting options are great. 2023 Grenache Rose is excellent as are most of their reds. A great deli option is available for light food choices. Well worth a visit.

Very nice cellar door and beautiful winery.
Cellar door has a restaurant within but we only wine tasted today. The wines were great and we purchased a mixed case including back vintages. Thr grounds are lovely. There is a viewing platform for photos of the vineyard. Lots of history.

Really disappointed. We were placed at a tasting table and apparently forgotten. 15 minutes later, a lovely girl offered us some water, and told us someone would be with us "shortly", because they were "very busy". The room was not full, and there was 4 staff behind the counter. We watched the table opposite us having to ask for their next taste, and the lady behind the counter was quite rude to them. The vibe of the place was that they are doing you a favour letting you taste their wine, which is silly because you can buy it at Dan Murphy's, and now, i probably wont even do that because the cellar door staff are so incredibly up themselves. The woman that booked us in was lovely, but was trying to do 659 things at once, while the toffy pourer served one table out of 5, and another older lady behind the counter was pretty rude to all who dared approach. Tip for the day, at least give us one wine to taste while we wait.

We had a great wine tasting here. Firstly the wines are sensational. We tried the flagship tasting panel which cost a bit more but is worth it. Frieda our host was informative and friendly and made us feel relaxed and important. The setting is superb - impressive wood henge at entrance to winery, then quaint tasting area with cool verhanda, nice gums, umbrellas to sit under. This is my favourite winery in the region.

Popped in for a wine tasting having previously been there for lunch (which was just beautiful). Staff were lovely and friendly and the information about the history of the area, the vineyard and the wine was really good, as was the wine itself. This winery is one of the top tourist spots and can get very busy but we were lucky to have missed the crowds and were able to enjoy the beautiful scenery and buildings without feeling rushed at all. FYI be advised that the cost of the tasting is not taken off if you make a purchase, unlike some other wineries. Still a lovely place to head to in a fantastic wine area

Nice place. We did the food tasting with our wine experience, but unfortunately, weren't provided any information on the food choices and if we were pairing these with particular wines. It is unfortunate that the tasting price isn't redeemable if wines are purchased.

Dropped in for a quick bite. Tuesday lunch time but not that busy. From web order to final service 34 minutes for x2 panini and x1 hot dog is very slow. Plus there was 5 minutes between paninis. Food ok bit a bit over priced

What a fantastic afternoon @Wirra Wirra.
One must appreciate the work and effort that goes into such a place.
This was our first time here and what a magical experience.
As soon as you enter this Winery it feels welcoming, warm and inviting.
The staff greeted us straight away and they were so polite, friendly and up for a chat.
My father and l were seated and proceeded to order wine and my father ordered Son of Trott Pie and l ordered the Confit Duck Leg w/Asian salad. To wash the meals down l ordered a bottle of Rose and a Sav Blanc for dad.
The meals and wine were absolutely fantastic and our 2hrs there was absolutely superb.
Thank you to the staff, chefs and establishment.

We did the the white, pink and red flight tasting. Our hostess was friendly and very knowledgeable. It was great to try different types and styles of wines that you would not usually go for, it’s a great way to experience and broaden your wine knowledge. We purchased a triple pack which included the lost watch Riesling, Mrs Wigley Rose and the Church block cab sav Shiraz merlot, great value at $60 per pack. The tasty room was beautifully designed and the layout was great.

We thoroughly enjoyed this special master class. Jen, our hostess, led us on an informative mini tour of the winery and surrounds before we sat down to enjoy the range of 5 different Shiraz offerings. Each was well described by Jen, explaining the differences between them. There were 2 locally made types of dark chocolate provided to enjoy between the generous “tastes” of each. The wines are high quality, excellent and easy to drink.
We then stayed on for lunch in Harry’s Deli. The platter was very generous and of excellent quality, including many tasty locally made goodies.

The aim of my day was to take overseas guests, who had never seen a vineyard, on a wine tasting experience. We had a tight schedule as we had to pick up guests from a cruise ship, get them to the winery and get them back to the ship by 3.00pm. Rowan and the other staff at Wirra Wirra couldn't have been more helpful. Our guest was late getting off the ship but the staff adjusted all the time frames so he was able to go on a Trotts Tales experience, see the Scrubby Rise Vineyard, learn about the history and the wine making process and of course taste beautiful wines with an accompanying fruit and cheese platter.
We then went through to Harry's Deli where they prioritised our order so that we had time to eat our beautiful meal before we had to head back to the ship.
Without the support and flexibility of the Wirra Wirra staff our day would have been a disaster. Instead it was an experience that our overseas guest will never forget!!
