Spent a lovely afternoon with Tash, showcasing the marvellous wines; and Tash was just good company! She has excellent knowledge of their full range of wines, and there were some real standouts. I was blown away by the Eliza Shiraz - have to wonder how...More
Dropped in today to a very warm welcome by Robyn and Nelly (wine dog). With a beautiful cellar door and fire place alight it was the perfect setting to try a few reds on a cold wet windy day.
A definite must on your Vale...More
Well this is a nice place for a taste of wine. It's much grander and larger than I expected and was pleasantly surprised. Our host was very friendly taking us through their range of wines. Shottesbrook is well worth a visit.
Hamish Maguire together with Naked Wines invited 100 to a visit to this winery for a marvellous meal & wine tastings, showing us over their winery after having picked about half of us up in 2 buses from Adelaide - the other 50 drove themselves....More

Hi there Lenore,
Shottesbrooke does have a private picnic area you can book (the Picker's Hut), or alternatively there are tables and chairs located both inside the cellar door, or outside in the courtyard area (pending weather) that you can use.
Unfortunately there is no cafe or restaurant on site, but you are very welcome to BYO a picnic and enjoy the garden.
And as a third option, our sister restaurant, The Currant Shed is very close by, and I can highly recommend it for a nice relaxed lunch.
We look forward to welcoming you when you are visiting here!
