Sharon's love for her adopted hometown is as deep as her knowledge of its past and present, and by the end of a walking tour with her there's a good chance you'll have heard insights into Hahndorf's character and heritage few others could offer. We have no regrets about choosing Hahndorf Walking Tours as our one Hahndorf experience.

My sister and I did this walking tour with Sharon which was a fun way to learn the interesting history of the pretty town of Hahndorf. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with Sharon and would highly recommend this tour. Lunch at the homely German Inn was delicious, including the apple strudel we had made earlier. We spent the whole day in Hahndorf, soaking up its autumnal beauty and enjoying the hospitality of its friendly people. Thankyou Sharon & Hahndorf - what a great day!

Hi there! So glad you were able to do be with us in Hahndorf before the world stood still. You were the last Strudel and Stroll walking tour I have done since the world stopped - missing my walking tour folk. I'm so glad you had a great day. Having 2 sisters myself I wouldn't find it easy to escape with either of them but you were so lovely together. So much to do in our lovely village and the day just flies by. Thank you for your recommendation. I look forward to having visitors back in the village real soon!

When visiting Adelaide, Hahndorf should be on everyone's itinerary and the Hahndorf Walking Tour should be on top of the to do list of every visitor. To be able to appreciate this interesting village, you need to know it's history and there is no better way to learn about it than to experience the walking tour. Sharon was nice enough to fit me in at short notice. Although two people are required on the tour, paying extra to go solo was well worth the cost. Even though Sharon has presented the tour many times she still displays a passionate and enthusiastic attitude towards her town and it's history which makes the tour even more special. She also has access to places that the normal tourist would not see and articulates clearly entertaining stories about the village. Highly recommended!

Hello Thank you so much for your recommendation. Hahndorf is just one of those places that gets under your skin. Here I live and I here I love putting skin on the village to give people memories that will last a lifetime. You were a wonderful guest and I thank you for being such an ambassador for the village and also my tours. Living here I am usually able to fit people in at short notice however it is always best for people to book or ring first. In these changing times I hope you were able to get home safely. I'd love to see you back in Hahndorf. All the best and thanks again for the recommendation.

The tour was so interesting and Sharon was passionate and informative. We loved getting off the main street and gaining a greater understanding of how the early settlers lived. If we had more time there we would have definitely done another tour with Sharon.

Thanks Kathy for your 5 star rating. The Hufendorf of the village certainly provides a different perspective to the village showing its original layout. Our village is an experience in itself but all my guests agree that walking tours in whatever location you visit add another dimension. I hope its not to much longer before you are the village again and I can show you both the other end of the village. Kindest Regards Sharon

Thank you Marie for posting this review. How lovely that you received this as a gift voucher for Christmas. The gift giver made a great choice. I agree, everyone should do it! How yummy is the strudel and you can both be congratulated for making it so well. I know Brad would have eaten what you couldn't fit in. The Vanilla Bean icecream and lashings of cream make it all the more special. Working up an appetite on the walking tour would have made it taste even better. Hahndorf is such a unique village and we need to protect the buildings and history for generations to come. Loved having you both along and hope to see you back one day. Hope you have a great 2020. All the best for your life together.
