We booked on the Sunset Tour for our anniversary and it was simply amazing. Brenton our guide was awesome and full of knowledge about the Coorong, the native animals and plants. It was a nice little work out paddling across the Mouth to the dunes, before a beautiful walk and picnic, full of local produce and wine. The paddle back during sunset was breathtaking (and cruisey with the current). We even saw a couple of seals. Such a wonderful little trip and some amazing memories were made.

What an incredible afternoon /sunset paddle. The stunning glow of an amazing sunset in the middle of winter was definitely enough to warm our souls. James was a great guide with an abundance of knowledge , humour and kindness to all of the group. He was a great testament to your business to watch how he kindly supported and encouraged a young fellow paddler that needed extra support without any disruption to the broader group.
To paddle across the mouth of the river with views to the powerful ocean, the pristine Coorong , and the abundance of wildlife especially all the curious seals bobbing around us was simply a world class experience right here in our own back yard. Thank you for such an incredible adventure. Oh and I nearly forgot the wine and cheese platter (with all SA produce) stop was a lovely touch.

We did the sunset kayaking tour and saw the most gorgeous sunset. Brenton was very professional, experienced and even better that he studied ecotourism. He had a world of knowledge about the area, the indigenous culture and food in the area. He also brought the local produce for our sunset tour which is another highlight for us.
We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and highly recommend it to be the must do experience in Goolwa.

Thanks so much! Our tours are based on our ecotourism principles to ensure a sustainable, educational and enjoyable tour for everyone. With the aim of all our guests leaving the Coorong with a little bit more knowledge about the amazing place that it is. Thanks for the amazing review, so glad you enjoyed the tour so much :D

Brenton was the kindest - I had asked to move the tour date 3 times across the span of a year and he was very happy to help. Then we would have had to cancel due to weather conditions and he squeezed us in on that day even though they were fully booked. The tour itself was breathtaking, the views were like a picture and we canoed for at least an hour. The cheese and produce from the area was most delicious and the cookies a beautiful sentiment. The biggest thank you to Brenton and his team, a beautiful establishment.

We did the sunset tour which was absolutely amazing! Such a fabulous family trip - even though it was winter, I would highly recommend this during the colder seasons as the wildlife is spectactular. We had a group of seals following us around and playing in the water all around us - so much fun! Also really enjoyed the picnic and they were very accommodating in regards to everything. Just amazing!

I'm so glad to hear your enjoyed your Sunset Tour, some people just don't understand that despite the cooler weather, now is the most amazing time to be out exploring the Coorong. So I'm so pleased to hear you had such a great tour! The seals playing amongst the kayaks is always a favourite :) Thank you so much for your amazing review!

My boyfriend and i did the sunset tour and it was absolutely amazing. James was our tour guide and he made the experience so fun as well as respecting mine and my boyfriends personal time. For example when he set up a delicious platter he went for a walk so my boyfriend and I could enjoy it just the 2 of us. The seals were so friendly which I have never experienced before. They came up to the canoes and were waving etc. lastly the paddle back in the sunset was stunning. myself and my boyfriend had the best time and highly recommend the sunset tour for couples wanting a romantic yet adventures date.

I paddled with a group of girlfriends. We had the best time with a strongish tide trying to keep our kayaks heading in a straight direction, laughing when we beached ourselves on a sand bar. Our guide kept us safe while on the water explaining where we were going to land to enjoy our cheese , fruit and biscuits platter along with choice of wines and bottled juice. The guided land tour talking about indigenous hunting and food collecting for meals and medicinal purposes added to a very enjoyable time. I'd like to do it again with a clearer evening and hope the sunset puts on another magnificent show. Thanks Reilly (our guide).

We did the 3 hour trip around the Goolwa barrage as too windy for the Murray Mouth as planned. This was a late change (just as good) and Brenton kept us us up to speed with the change of venue . Sam our guide was knowledgeable and did a good induction of technique and safety induction before we set off. The trip also included an interpretive walk over the dunes, a swim and afternoon tea. Highly recommended. .

Hi Alan, thanks so much for your review of our alternate Sunset tour. We have only recently added the Goolwa Barrage as an alternative when the winds are too strong since it has been a very windy Summer this year. I'm so glad to hear you enjoyed it! We felt we needed to step up with a contingency as many people travel to Goolwa just for our tours and are disappointed if the weather isn't kind, especially if they're travelling through and not returning soon. Having a backup as an option has been fantastic and its great to see some fantastic reviews for this new tour coming through - thank you!

We went on the sunset tour, which was absolutely magical. It was fantastic enough just canoeing on the water with the sunet, but to see the seals as well was an amazing unexpected surprise. This was such a special experience and we would highly recommend.

Lovely way to get a different view of the Coorong. Knowledgable guide, great emphasis on bush tucker, Indigenous history and environmental change, and especially nice to have some time to relax in between the paddling. Pretty tired at the end of the day, but very satisfied with a great day out.
