It is absolutely amazing day. Tasting all the pineapple juices and simply a beautiful drive to sunshine coast. Train ride is great and the family loved every moment. Fresh air and spectacular view leading to the big Pineapple.

We stopped in on the drive home last week & spent about 1.5 hours here. We rode the train down to the zoo which was better than I expected! They have a lot of animals, many of them offering "encounters" where you can have your...More

Not sure why they aren't selling Golden Circle products here, most especially pineapples. This is the only attraction here. A bit quiet though.

Had visitors from Sydney and they wanted to see an Aussie Icon, the Big Pineapple. So sad to see it in it's present state. Run down, untidy and hanging on by a thread for survival was rather depressing. Small Zoo and Café staff are nice...More

I don't know what this once was or if it was ever any good. But it's certainly a sad empty place to visit. I truly hope that something is done to restore this place because it could be so so much better. The ladies in...More

Literally, a giant pineapple. It was neat to go inside & made for great photo ops. It's cool to see how Pineapples grow in the rows just steps from this huge one. Inside of the giant hollow pineapple is a mini museum, but really, who...More

What was once a bustling attraction is a shadow of its former self. The zoo is worth having a look at but the pineapple side of things is well and truly in decline. Go for sure but dont expect to much.

I am so glad that the Big Pineapple has re-opened! It was closed for a time, and my daughter visited on her own, and was very distressed that she couldn't relive her childhood memory of riding the cute little train and having a massive sundae...More

We visited the Big Pineapple and took the tour round the plantation and found it not only enjoyable but interesting too, coming from the UK it was different for us and we discovered that pineapples grow out the ground and not from a tree lol,...More

It's closed for good at the moment, not sure if it will open in the future but it looks unlikely!
