Absolutely fantastic hospitality and trip commentry. The gear and equipment looks ship shape on fay 1 but well test that further as we go. See view of the Lucinda Pier, just about to leave for an adventure of signicance.

Fantastic sea kayaking trip in a beautiful environment. Supported by great guides, the trip is varied, exciting, and (for a moderately fit person) moderately challenging. The food is fresh and plentiful, and the meals varied. I’ve come back feeling stronger, fitter and healthier. No two trips are ever the same so I’m keen to return and paddle Hinchinbrook again. Coral Sea Kayaking do it well — highly recommended.

An amazing expedition type journey that simply must be experienced! Everyday we spent paddling to our next island escape with the support of the guide crew who on arrival would poduce another gourmet selection of entrees and main courses. I had a great time with the other guests and learning from the wisdom and stories the guides had to share. A great outdoor experience for sure!

We did the Family Islands / Wheeler Island 3 day trip out of Mission Beach with Paul as our guide. We had the best time. Deteriorating seas on the first day had as turn around and camp on Dunk Island, which was really cool. We hiked to the peak and got to see the devastation of the resort due to cyclones. Day 2 we paddled to Wheeler, set up camp, did a figure 8 around Coombe and Wheeler. Day 3 we returned via the front side of Dunk. We saw turtles, sea birds, crabs, so many fish, crazy jungle, amazing shore lines and beautiful views. Our guide Paul was fantastic. The food he prepared was fresh and super tasty, with generous serves. He was extremely experienced and flexible. Most of all he was easy-going, friendly and had some great tips. It was like paddling with a long time friend. I can't recommend Coral Sea Kayaking and Paul highly enough. We all had the best trip! Thank you so much! 100 stars from almost 14yo Jess.

A group of 11 women who had joined a Women Want Adventure tour had an amazing experience kayaking along the eastern side of Hinchinbrook Island . Coral Sea Kayaking guides who accompanied the group Paul and Abigail were enthusiastic supportive encouraging and attentive. The wellbeing of the group was their highest priority. Their unfailing good humour infused the group and created a sense of goodwill and camaraderie between group members. The whole group expressed their gratitude to Paul and Abigail for facilitating such a wonderful experience. The equipment provided for camping was sufficient and the dry bags were in good condition. The food and beverages provided were abundant and of an excellent standard. Hygiene standards were maintained and there was lots of hand sanitiser and insect repellent was easily accessible. One of the most important pieces of equipment provided was a top of the range camping mattress. Being comfortable at night was a major benefit and allowed for a good nights rest . The kayaks were in a good state of repair and working order. A good level of fitness is required for this tour as there is a requirement for heavy lifting when retreiving and lauching kayaks. The scenery and camping spots were beautiful. Hinchinbrook Island is almost pristine and our guides Paul and Abigail were careful to keep it that way encoraging us to be respectful of the environment.
