Went there mon 1pm tour. Was a little bit of rain around but that did not deter the children. A great way to spend 1.5 hours with tasting at the end. $11 per person tour and we purchased items from their shop afterwards. Would recommend....More
I was part of a group that visited Maleny Dairies. We had 38 teenagers and they now have a better understanding of where their milk comes from. Such an important lesson. It was so great to see a small family dairy growing and thriving. Yummiest...More
Visited the dairy farm with my 6 year old daughter. Both really enjoyed it. Got to feed (bottle) a calf which my daughter loved. Tour was great, got to know lots more about the way everything goes. Milk and yoghurt tasting was yummy. Great value...More
We were looking for something to do for the day and decided on a trip to Maleny Dairies to see what is involved in getting milk into the shops. Exceeded our expectations. Straightaway, the place was so relaxing as we had a coffee and something...More
I’ve been to Maleny Dairies several times now. I really enjoy the tour - where you can hand feed some of the animals and get in amongst it. However, everyone’s favourite part always seems to be the bit at the end where we get to...More
What a great place to visit. It’s wonderful to see a small dairy, beating the odds by doing it alone.
From seeing the history, manufacturing of bottles, milking of cows, right through to tasting the finished product, this is an amazing place, and well worth...More
I have attended this place twice now, and have enjoyed both trips. The owners do an amazing job, they present their family industry with heart and honesty. The children i went with loved milking the cows and tasting milk products fresh from the dairy.
We enjoyed our tour at the Maleny farm! Not only do they show you how it’s all done but you also get to try all the produce they make at the farm!
I believe the prices are very reasonable for a family of 5. Considering...More
Hi folks, I am visiting Queensland in June with my wife, three kids (7 yo, 5 yo and 2 yo) and the grandparents. We're planning for 4 nights in Gold Coast and 2 nights in the Sunshine Coast, and wrapping up with a night in Brisbane before our flight home. For the 2 nights in the Sunshine Coast, where would be a good place to base ourselves to explore the region? From browsing the forums, I've heard Noosa, Maroochydore, Mooloolaba and Caloundra being mentioned. Which of those would be...More

So I would stay up in the hills somewhere. Are you wanting to go to Australia Zoo? You need to be there by 10am or so to catch the shows, so stay locally. The beach side areas and towns are crowded and the roads are a nightmare. I actually dont like the area much. Beaches better on Gold Coast in the mornings. Just go to one of the towns for a few hours on one day and good luck finding a car park. I would stay up near Maleny, go to the Markets ( check open days) and do the nearby rainforest...More
