Well, what a surprise! We were stuck in Kuranda as the electricity was out for the whole town! What to do??? Then a small sign with Kuranda Riverboats on it...and WOW! What fun...we saw 3 freshwater crocs as well as fed turtles and black bream!...More

We had a very relaxing cruise down the Barron River to the weir. The guide, Warren, was very informative and he made the cruise most interesting and enjoyable. Our only complaint was that the cruise was much too short! We would definitely do this again.

A nice trip down Barron river, u see crocs, darters, bee eaters, turtles, archer fish, other birds and rainforest wildlife. Good talk on history etc by driver only a short trip.
