If you have been to Hartleys to see the crocodiles then this river cruise will seem very tame. You see the crocs from a distance only. Though the boat driver is very passionate and knowledgeable. Very relaxing 45 minutes

Fab trip, you learn a lot and have a lovely chilled out time cruising down the river, seeing turtles, crocs, birds, fish etc! The highlight of my trip to Kuranda without a doubt

We were looking forward to this & the guide/owner was very friendly but the river is murky & we didn't see much apart from a few turtles losing the battle with faster fish to eat the boat persons nibbles & a rare bird perched on...More

Thanks for your review. Yes, the water was a bit murky due to previous heavy rainfall and the fact that you visited during our wet season. Also at this time of year the temperature of the water is warmer and so the freshwater crocodiles prefer...More

This tour is fairly short just 45 min. But was good value for money at $18. It was a calm trip. No crocs to be seen for our trip as water still mirky. Didnt see much apart from turtles and some fish. But very pleasant...More

Thanks very much Jill for your review and glad you enjoyed your cruise on the river. The crocodiles can be a bit elusive but they often do sit out on logs when the sun comes out.

We did this on whim whilst waiting for the first train back to Freshwater. Nice little rivercruise, little birds had made a nest in the boat so these little birds were flying in and out of the boat & flying alongside during the trip. The...More
