Hidden away and difficult to find, this is a beautiful gem off the Bruce Highway south of Ingham. A few kms of reasonable road to the base, there are rewarding pools and views if you're prepared to walk and climb a little further upstream from the parking area.

Only about 20klm south of Ingham, Jourama Falls has lovely swimming holes. Shaded Barbeque areas. walking tracks. Camping areas. Great for relaxing for all the family. Can even see lots of wild life like scrub hens, turtles and goannas and birds. Best time is after rain, but any time is good. No shops bring your own food.

A liitle bit off the beaten track but well worth the effort. The falls are beautiful to view during and after the wet season. There are two excellent swimming holes, one as you first drive in where there is a ladder to get out of the water and a grassed area to kick a ball around on along with cooking... More

It was a shame that we visited in drought, as it looked like Jourama Falls could be amazing after rain. That said, even with only a trickle coming over, it was still a nice spot, and the pools at the bottom were great.

We had a lovely time at Jourama Falls. The walk from the car park is probably the prettiest walk my husband and I have down. The national parks have done a fantastic job of the walking track to the falls. The falls were not working to the best of their ability due to our timing but in the wet season... More

This is quite a beautiful walk up to the lookout, the track is well maintained and relatively easy to traverse, lots of picturesque scenery along the way as you criss cross over the river and up a hill to reach the lookout. Well worth the detour to go see it. There is also places to swim, just be careful as... More

Enjoy a nice scenic view, as you hike up to the top. Make sure you are wearing good footwear, as it is not all flat ground. There are insects around, so be sure to put some repellent on. Plenty of parking space available.

I'm sure this would be a lovely spot with normal rainfall... as it was the rock pools were more rocks than pools and the waterfall very underwhelming. But still very peaceful and pretty and enjoyed climbing over the rocks. After reading that it was an easy walk, took my elderly parents - who couldn't walk very far along the track... More

A short hike, easy to reach, paved trail and manmade steps to lead you to a viewing platform to view the whole waterfall. One of the longest ones I have seen so far and really beautiful.
