We have been conducting tours on the Daintree River since 1987 and run a family operated, one hour river tour from a private jetty. Our boats are small and personalised for a quality experience and our tours focus on wildlife such as snakes and birds, with an emphasis on crocodile spotting. The tour includes commentary about the area and the mangrove ecosystem. We also provide good quality binoculars and complimentary hot and cold beverages.

The team were really professional, knew heaps about crocs, and knew exactly where to look. Despite it being low season (January) we saw 2 large crocodiles (approx. 3m each) and a couple of hatchlings. Top tip - go at low tide and preferably on an overcast day as the crocs are easier to see Our skipper had great knowledge of... More

My friend and I did a trip on the Daintree River looking for wild life, we arrived in the morning and it was suggested that the afternoon cruise would be lower tide an much better for viewing. We returned 20 mins prior to departure that afternoon and were greeted by lovely staff with a welcoming smile, they have a pleasant... More

Very friendly staff, welcomed with a free drink (slushie, tea/coffee) and free lunch (pie or sausage roll). Binoculars are provided on every seat. Saw 4 crocodiles and a large python. Bruce was very knowledgable and was always on the look out for wildlife. Tour was topped off by their 2 amazing doggos, which I will attach photos of. Very good... More

Booked this tour over competitors based on the great reviews (... And the free lunch offered with the midday cruise might have helped swing it) and was really pleased I had. It's a really small boat and there were only 8 adults and 2 kids on our trip, so plenty space to move around to get the best view. Even... More

We took this tour in the afternoon when it was low tide, apparently a good time to go. We did get to see one enormous female croc partially out of the water on a sandbank as well as a young croc on the edge of the river bank. The skipper tried hard to find more crocs for us but it... More

Thanks for your review, to see a 5 metre crocodile and another small crocodile on a hot day in summer is good viewing. The best sightings are in winter when the water is cold and they have to come out and bask in the sun. More

We had a fantastic tour with Ray and Duke (the dog). I don't know how Ray managed to spot the crocs but we saw 4, including the 5m long alpha male. We also saw fruit bats, and Ray held a snake which was swimming in the river. Ray was a great guide and it was great that he was so... More

I really enjoyed this cruise. I love that it's a family run business. They serve coffee and tea in the little cafe past reception and the souvenir shop. The setting is really charming. It's a short walk to the place for boarding the boat. The guide, Bruce himself, is very knowledgeable about the local history, flora and fauna. We did... More
