Finch Bay is easily accessible either from a car park nearby ( which is the easier way and used frequently by locals taking their dogs for exercise) or by a relatively easy walk f through the bush from the Bot Gardens ( which is more...More

Untouched,Pristine,Cleanest area we've ever seen, even the nature is tidy-! Coastal dune hugging trees & mangroves help sands not get washed away..A photographers & painters perfect landscape.A whole day here is a must..keep up the brilliant clean up work- locals-!!

A lovely secluded beach with interesting rock formations as background. The walk to it through lovely forest, back of the Botanic Gardens. Though water looked inviting, crocodile warnings caution one not to venture in for a swim

A lovely beach but always aware of lurking crocs gave us the idea not to hang around too long! Easy access

I like this place very much. The beach is quiet and wide. Sand is as fine as corn starch. A great palce to sit and enjoy the sea breeze. The only problem is the lack of any facility.

The carpark is a short 300 meters from the bay itself. There are wooden boards on the path to the sand to assist with walking/grip. The bay itself is sheltered between two rock buffs on either side. Visitors seem to like bringing their dogs unleashed...More

We went to this bay and walked to grassy hill you need to be reasonably fit as there are a few steep rocky parts on the track. It was enjoyable and some good views of the beach.
