Ocean Safari offers an exhilarating ride to snorkel the pristine untouched...

Ocean Safari offers an exhilarating ride to snorkel the pristine untouched Great Barrier Reef off the Daintree Coast at Cape Tribulation. This half day eco tour visits two different snorkel destinations, each with an extraordinary array of marine life and coral species. The tour begins at Cape Tribulation beach where guests board the vessel bound for the tropical waters of the Great Barrier Reef. After an exhilarating fast ride of approximately 25 minutes guests are ready to snorkel two fabulous locations at Mackay and Undine Reefs. On most days the rainforest can be seen along the mainland beach whilst snorkelling the Great Barrier Reef, home to an abundance of marine life as well as beautiful hard and soft corals. The Ocean Safari vessel takes a maximum of 25 passengers allowing guests to experience tropical paradise and the pleasure of a small group. The vessel is based on the original design of a rescue craft and is a rigid inflatable boat driven by 700hp engines. The experienced Skipper and Eco Host ensure the trip is filled with fun and appreciation of the Great Barrier Reef and the coastal rainforest of the Daintree, two world heritage areas side by side. Magical memories like these sometimes only happen once in a lifetime. The Ocean Safari check in office is at the Turtle Rock Cafe and Jungle Lodge, Cape Tribulation Road and a courtesy bus pick up from Cape Tribulation accommodation is included. Ocean Safari has Advanced Eco Accreditation.

My wife and I went snorkelling with our 2 young kids (5 and 7). We found the staff professional, very knowlegable, great with the kids and also fun! The snorkelling was great and was enjoyed all-round, at least until I managed to lose my GOPRO camera on the reef... :( Generously, the staff spent the remaining time on the snorkel... More

Absolutely awesome. Done the reef trip a million times. Going out on the reef with "Captain Jack" is so much fun. Stayed in the Jungle Lodge a million times as well. The Turtle Rock Cafe is awesome as well - really good quality food cooked fresh. Love seeing the crew up at Ocean Safari, they are so friendly and funny.... More

My wife and I were so happy with the reef tour from Ocean Safari. From the moment we booked in, the staff made us feel welcome and Adz and Sarah were great while we were out on the boat! Very exciting way to get to the reef, on a small boat powered by 2 V8 engines! Small group of people,... More

The Ocean Safari reef trip is spectacular. Skipper and staff are highly knowledgeable and personally cater for a diverse group of age and swimming ability. They are vigilant about safety and their smaller boat means they can provide very close access to the reef. The trip was great fun and the reef life we saw was amazing. Anna and John

Great trip; we did a snorkeling trip from Cairns too and it was nowhere near as nice. It's a small group, which is great, and there were no other groups snorkeling in that area. Excellent value for money too, and really friendly staff.

Fantastic and this is much better than the crowded trips. Two hours full on of non stop snorkeling at two reefs. The coral was just amazing coral and beautiful tropical fish. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. The Captain was most obliging when it came to taking pictures. They could not have more. Well recommended.

We both absolutely loved the Ocean Safari! It was our first time snorkeling, but they made sure it was perfect. Top 1 attraction in the Daintree for us.
