Not a huge botanic garden and the road was a bit bumpy. The gardens themselves were really beautiful though. Well worth the visit!

Some R&R time to stretch the legs. The observation tower is unique and well worth the climb up the narrow stairs to look out over the surrounding area. Well maintained and I would imagine very refreshing on a hot summers day with all the trees around the place..

Spectacular views of Daylesford and surrounding areas. A must do is the tower. Walk up the circular staircase to the top.

The signage to this attraction is quite poor and can be tricky to find. Once we got there a sign directed us to the scenic drive however the road was blocked by barriers with no temporary signage to explain why. We were about to leave but found an entrance to a carpark so we went in to find the only... More

We visited the Wombat Hill Botanical Gardens during a recent trip to Daylesford. This is a popular place for visitors and there is plenty to see if you are into plants or enjoy scenery or photography. The Tower was the main attraction for our kids and we had fun climbing to the top and taking photos. There are picnic benches... More

One of Daylesfords gems planted with historic elms and specimen trees ! The fern glade and waterfall are a throw back to the 1930s ! A climb up the old water tower gives wonderful views of the surrounding countryside with a quality cafe offering refreshments in a garden setting

We started our morning by doing a walk in the gardens, enjoying the freshness of the morning and the beautiful trees. Unfortunately the cafe wasn't open to indulge in a morning coffee.

Good add on if you are visiting Daylesford. I climbed the lookout and was rewarded with a partial view as trees have grown up and obscured some of the commanding position.
