Great fun but if you are doing the course for age10 and under I suggest you have one adult per 2 children as we had 6 children and you need to split yourself as they were all at different abilities so whilst some were racing through others still need encouragement to do it. Also apart from one piece of equipment none of the ropes etc go back so when one child has done it you need to bring it back for the next one. I've never known time to go so quick and wear flat shoes or trainers as you will need to help and beware as apart from showing you what to do on the first one or if there is a problem with the items the staff don't assist probably due to insurance reasons.

We have 3 kids and were a bit concerned our eldest would be bored by the junior adventure course ( there is an older course). All 3 kids loved it and we can go back when they are older for the older course. It takes about 1 hr 15 mins. There are about 6 mini courses so if you like one you can repeat it. They go from easy to hard so my youngest repeated an easy course and my oldest the harder course.
One man did help my youngest on a hard bit by going up and dragging her along but we did have to take our harness off at the end without help as the guys were busy.

Great value and we are very pleased we drove the hour and a bit from north London Obviously you need ok weather from March to October...

My 6yr old Son had his birthday party today at the Jungle Parc.
Overall the kids enjoy the Parc but the management & Team have no interest supporting the kids and spent the 2 hours chatting in a group and on two occasions I challenge their service and I was told that ther job is to assist and not supervise. I complained to the management / owner who did not take on board my views.

Im sorry you did not think our staff were vigilant at our site in Irchester, for the juniour course staff are requested to fully train your children (with parents watching so they understand the continuous saftey system) & after training & staff are happy that the children understand customers are required to take care of their own children, after this staff have to go to their posts to ensure the course is properly surveyed & if children need assistance staff are on hand. staff do not take your children around the course, this is fully explained on the disclaimer you sign & during the training session. We were aware their was a complaint yesterday & luckily our Director was onsite to witness the situation, it was a quite morning yesterday and as soon as a member of your party needed assistance a staff member was with you to help your son. It was apparant however that you were not onsite during the party or helping the children around the course but then come over afterwards & were very rude to all our staff members & our director, even though our staff members (4 in total watching the childrens course) were their for your group during the party. We at Jungle Parc take complaints very seriously however on this occasion we fail to see what the complaint is actually about, our course & managment of the course is annually inspected along with full annual inspections by the Health & Saftey executive. We have a very high saftey record which we are very proud of & we have never had a complaint regarding the saftey of our site or the competence of our staff members. We do not tolerate rude members of the public speaking to our staff or putting false reviews on Trip Advisor. Everyone with your party told staff they had an excellent time!!

My kids (aged 12 and 14) have been badgering me to let them do the harder Xplorer course at Irchester for ages (having both loved and completed the easier Adventurer course several times) so I finally caved in and said they could do it. Being under 14, I had to accompany the 12 year old - no problem I thought, how hard can it be? I began to suspect I might have made a hideous mistake whilst undertaking the relatively simple training activities, and was sure of it once on the course-proper! As mentioned in another review, it may have helped to have been given a clue about how strenuous the course is, and that a certain level of fitness is required. Whilst many of the activities are tricky but do-able, a handful are just plain evil and for me, sucked any fun I had been having out of the experience. When only half-way round it began to feel more and more like torture. Having had a near-falling-off experience on one almost impossible activity, I called it a day when faced with a similar one about three-quarters of the way round and was winched down to safety. I have to say I wasn't the only one - I saw several others 'rescued' in a similar manner - we certainly kept the instructors busy. I can't fault the instructors present - they were calm and helpful, encouraging when needed, but swift to jump into action and rescue when it became clear that encouragement wasn't going to cut it! Having said all that, my kids both loved it. The 14 year old, who is a member of a climbing club and so has good upper-body strength, completed the hard route, although she found it very challenging. The 12 year old struggled, but persevered and completed the easier route. He found some of the activities difficult simply because of his height - I think 10 and 11 year olds would have a similar problem. They were both a little disappointed that there was no certificate or acknowledgement of their achievement when they had finished - a simple certificate would be quite easy to produce and would be a nice touch. So to conclude - a great activity for those who are less challenged in the arm muscle department and those with long legs, but I think I would rather walk over hot coals than try it again. The husband can take them next time!

We took six 8 year old and two 6 year old children here for my son's birthday and it was perfect. The kids loved the challenge, were focused and patient with each other and we had lots of "this is the best birthday party ever". The staff were so attentive, helpful and encouraging of the kids. When they finished, they had a play in the park which is located alongside the climbing area. We came home for food afterwards but regretted that we hadn't brought a picnic and so, this is the plan for our other son's birthday in July. A great morning's fun for active kids.

Visited Jungle Parc at Irchester Country park this weekend. It was great fun for the children. The only downside is that at the end of each section, it is not clear where the new section starts. Each section is colour coded from easy to difficult but without the signposting, some of the stages are easily missed.

Visited today, April 19th with an 8 year old and a 12 year old. I had prebooked on the website and under the appropriate bit for the 12 yr old Explorer it stated that children aged 10-11 needed an adult to around with them. Being 12 i did not book an adult on. On arrival was advised rules changed approx a month ago and adult supervision now required from 14. Therefore had to stump up another £21 for my husband which we hadn't budgeted for. Staff response was to say they would email and advise office to change it..... Not good customer service in my opinion. Lucky he was with me as I was needed to supervise the 9 year old. Would have had 1 very disappointed daughter.
Saying that however kids had a great time and courses challenging for both age group. Staff always on hand to help when 9 year old needed it, especially when he was dangling by his harness at one point! An excellent time just marred by £21 we didn't expect to have to pay!

I visited Jungle Parc Irchester with a friend. It had been raining and some of the wooden surfaces were fairly slippery. I was really nervous and made a bit of a fool of myself at one point. But the instructors were really patient, encouraging and supportive. I made it safely around the course and would recommend the experience to anyone. Even people who, like me, are no longer in the first flush of youth.
