The staff were amazing- supportive and encouraging then let us get on with it. This was my first time doing climbing like this and although I was really scared I loved it! Great activity to do with ur teenagers! Really recommend 👍🏻

A fab day out hanging around in the trees, what an adventure and a fun experience. The two young lads and young lady who work there are amazing at there job and very helpful. Well worth the Money and a visit.

This high wire assault course is getting very tired, several bits were broken making it impossible to complete the course without staff assistance. One of the sit down zip lines does not have a rope to pull yourself to the platform and unless you really go for it you will not make it across to the platform, I got stuck half way across and a member of staff had to pull me back to the starting platform, on a few of the walk across the wire using ropes hanging down etc. several ropes and handholds were missing or broken, on a walk across the wire holding onto a moving rope the string to pull the rope to you was broken and had to be moved by a staff member on the ground. The staff were great, very attentive and helpful.

For £20 I had hoped for a little bit more, it took me an hour to complete and I was taking my time, looking around at all the squirrels. Compared to another popular company which is £33 and takes me 3 hours, I feel I get more for my money with them.

I do not feel this course was well designed, you often end up having to duck under wires because you end up on the wrong side to get to the platform, there are two trees that need removing as they interfere with the course but do no offer any structural integrity to the high wire, one of which the wires are actually rubbing against. The platforms are small which makes it less social as a group activity and you may struggle to get from one to the other easily.

On the plus side it is challenging course, the staff are lovely, and £20 is a fair price to kill an hour doing something fun. This course would probably be better for children than adults. This course needs some money spending on it to fix the broken bits and renovate it to get it up to the standard of other similar courses with more modern safety features e.g.continuous belay.

We did the course as a family today and it was brilliant. My daughter loved it and she did amazingly well which is great for her confidence. My son was not too overexcited to start with but very proud of himself at the end. I'd never done anything like this but I thought I'd set myself a challenge today. After a scaredy start, even just on the practice section, I got used to the height and the technique of making yourself safe with every clip. I did come a cropper on the wobbly 2x2 batons 'dangly' crossing (sorry don't know how else to describe it!). I should have held on to the ropes holding the batons but I held on to the central cable and just lost my confidence when I nearly fell off. Pretty quickly, staff noticed that I was not too happy and I was very safely lowered to the ground. I would be interested in trying again in the future. I might practise this type of crossing on their easier course first though. The 'spider's web' was really tough but my husband and children were so proud to have mastered it. Thanks to the staff there this afternoon. We felt safe and supported.

Took a group of 9 over 60s there for the Xplorer course. The course was tough but we were all up for it and the staff there were awesome!, so supportive when we got stuck and they had to help a couple down that could'nt go any further.
NOTE, there are no easy ways down if you get stuck/scared after the start, quite different to CPs where you can bail out after each "section"

Enjoyed a hour or so in the tree tops. Some of the stages were quite tricky and required a degree of balance and skill. Our 13 year old needed to be accompanied on the course but I think he was largely supervising us. The guys did a good job of explaining but there wasn't a lot of presence of staff around the course. It was nice to find something we could all have a go out oldies and teenage kids.

Great couple of hours in the trees. Efficient staff who were watching and monitoring to encourage whenever necessary.

My kids (aged 12 and 14) have been badgering me to let them do the harder Xplorer course at Irchester for ages (having both loved and completed the easier Adventurer course several times) so I finally caved in and said they could do it. Being under 14, I had to accompany the 12 year old - no problem I thought, how hard can it be? I began to suspect I might have made a hideous mistake whilst undertaking the relatively simple training activities, and was sure of it once on the course-proper! As mentioned in another review, it may have helped to have been given a clue about how strenuous the course is, and that a certain level of fitness is required. Whilst many of the activities are tricky but do-able, a handful are just plain evil and for me, sucked any fun I had been having out of the experience. When only half-way round it began to feel more and more like torture. Having had a near-falling-off experience on one almost impossible activity, I called it a day when faced with a similar one about three-quarters of the way round and was winched down to safety. I have to say I wasn't the only one - I saw several others 'rescued' in a similar manner - we certainly kept the instructors busy. I can't fault the instructors present - they were calm and helpful, encouraging when needed, but swift to jump into action and rescue when it became clear that encouragement wasn't going to cut it! Having said all that, my kids both loved it. The 14 year old, who is a member of a climbing club and so has good upper-body strength, completed the hard route, although she found it very challenging. The 12 year old struggled, but persevered and completed the easier route. He found some of the activities difficult simply because of his height - I think 10 and 11 year olds would have a similar problem. They were both a little disappointed that there was no certificate or acknowledgement of their achievement when they had finished - a simple certificate would be quite easy to produce and would be a nice touch. So to conclude - a great activity for those who are less challenged in the arm muscle department and those with long legs, but I think I would rather walk over hot coals than try it again. The husband can take them next time!

We took six 8 year old and two 6 year old children here for my son's birthday and it was perfect. The kids loved the challenge, were focused and patient with each other and we had lots of "this is the best birthday party ever". The staff were so attentive, helpful and encouraging of the kids. When they finished, they had a play in the park which is located alongside the climbing area. We came home for food afterwards but regretted that we hadn't brought a picnic and so, this is the plan for our other son's birthday in July. A great morning's fun for active kids.

We have 3 kids and were a bit concerned our eldest would be bored by the junior adventure course ( there is an older course). All 3 kids loved it and we can go back when they are older for the older course. It takes about 1 hr 15 mins. There are about 6 mini courses so if you like one you can repeat it. They go from easy to hard so my youngest repeated an easy course and my oldest the harder course.
One man did help my youngest on a hard bit by going up and dragging her along but we did have to take our harness off at the end without help as the guys were busy.

Great value and we are very pleased we drove the hour and a bit from north London Obviously you need ok weather from March to October...
