Stunning Views
Nov 2021
A lovely place with some great scenery, well worth a visit. We visited and hired a tramper which was definitely worth its while allowing us both to see the stunning scenery.

We also stopped for a brew and cake in the cafe which was very nice.

Time to stand and stare
Oct 2021
Good place to pause awhile before descending the bank to the lower levels. Some interesting and varied paved walks to get different views and a ranger helpfully pointed out the one best suited to my mobility issue. We could see he potential of "the best view in England"but the late afternoon haze did not help us on this occasion.
The park centre is informative with a good quality gift shop and cafe.

Visitor Centre shop
Aug 2021 • Couples
Although our visit is listed as being a couple we also had my elderly father and elderly dog! There wasn't an appropriate category for us . Maybe Trip Advisor ought to have an " other" option.! We visited the shop only on this occasion This was not our first visit so we knew what to expect . The range and quality of goods on sale is brilliant. The variety of the birds visible from the window is excellent . Chairs would be welcome here though . The staff were friendly and helpful . Highly recommended

Gorgeous Views
Aug 2021
What a fantastic place for a walk or a cycle ride through the trails. The views are stunning and it's great to watch the gliders take off and land so close to the footpaths. My only critique is the visitor's centre doesn't really provide very clear information on how to get to certain footpaths. Otherwise, I'd definitely recommend.

A quick visit
Jul 2021
Stopped here for a quick walk and to use the facilities whilst passing through. Apparently the "Finest View in England". It was ok but I've seen better, having hiked most of the Lake District in my time. We then carried on to the White Horse of Kilburn. I would come back if I was in the area to explore a bit more

So peaceful
Jul 2021
The staff at the Centre are some of the most helpful and courteous my partner and I have met. My partner has a walking disability which necessitates a wheel chair for her to get around any distance. The gentleman offered her the loan of a free electric wheelchair, which enabled us to visit the top to see the "Most beautiful view in Yorkshire", we were not disappointed. On returning the wheelchair we saw a different gentleman who was just as polite and courteous as the previous one. I would certainly recommend a visit tom this beautiful and so peaceful part of Yorkshire. My grateful thanks to the staff.

Very disappointing
Jul 2021
Signage rubbish on footpaths Toilets grubby Queues for the cafe. Car parking was shambolic with a requirement to pay 2.20 an hour but refused to take cash so scanned my card in and it took 2.00 and gave me a ticket until midnight. Entry and exit arrangements completely changed from website and after a massive diversion found the viewing point with an obviously meaningless claim to be the best view in England do not bother
Picnic tables were worn and dirty to boot

A nice little gem that’s well worth a visit.
May 2021 • Couples
What a gem, we only went for the view and ended up staying for a good couple of hours. Nicely kept paths, friendly staff, immaculate areas with staff noticeably keeping the areas clean and litter free. The shop and cafe were a nice surprise and also clean and neat. It was very quiet on our visit but judging by the size of the car parks, it can get quite busy, don’t let this put you off, make the effort and go for a visit.

Perfect day out for all ages
May 2021
This is a great place for a day out, especially for walkers and mountain bikers. The trails are well laid out, and there are several clearly marked and maintained mountain bike tracks. There is also a pump track for the adventurous. For those on foot you can walk along the top of Sutton Bank with stunning views to the west or do a longer circular walk (9.5km) down and along and back up the other side for the more adventureous. The toilets are well maintained and the cafe and sho on site were all covid safe and friendly. Parking is only £5 ish for the day and takes credit cards or use the pay-by-phone app.
Plenty of parking and a great day out.
