As a coeliac, I have NEVER been able to drink gluten-free draught beer. I went into the Feather Star more in hope than expectation. I asked the young man behind the bar if he had any gluten-free beer and BINGO ! I enjoyed a pint...More

In a wonky building straight out of central casting for a quirky ale House is the Feather Star. Tiny bar with cask and keg beers, a great selection to choose from. Upcycled furniture in a series of wonky rooms, games to play, and a great...More

Lovely little place with a good selection of beers despite being very small. Really friendly staff and a good atmosphere. It is cash only but there’s a cash point a short walk down the road. Great place for a drink

Lovely little micro pub that's welcoming and sells amazing ales. Upstairs is a hidden gem. There are vinyls everywhere. Bliss, and heaven. If ever you're in Wirksworth, grab an ale and have a nosey upstairs.
