Tideswell is a cute little town, so it is astonishing to find such a huge church at the Centre of the town. It is well worth taking a look inside. There is plenty to see and learn from. Loved it.

A person interested in history could spend hours in this beautiful church. Its so full of history and still operating as a normal day church.

The stained glass windows are beautiful and the detailed woodwork and stonework make this an absolute gem to look at.

Fairly austere inside but this reflects history of mill children at nearby Litton Mill who need to be remembered.

The cathedral of the peak is worth a visit, however it is smaller than a lot of normal churches. A small village with a very nice bread/cake shop serving large excellent rolls, opposite the cathedral.

I was lucky enough to visit on a day when we could climb the tower. The views were fantastic! The cathedral itself is amazing - lots of stained glass.
