We will often go here whilst visiting relatives and are never disappointed. The walks are delightful and very extensive with numerous different ways around. You can stick to the paths or adventure into the trees. Pop into the cafe with its roaring fire in the winter to enjoy a snack and a cup of tea. There is a herb garden... More

We walked from YHA National Forest and discovered this place en route. Great cafe and things for the kids to do, original ideas and lovely bit of natural space.

Had a very good visit here it's ideal for walking but with lots of other activities going on for children and people of all ages, well worth a visit as long as the weather is ok! Me and my Dad had a great time on the falconry experience. The falconers Richard and D were very knowledgeable and informative. The group was quite large but everybody got to have a go flying the birds and both flaconers made sure there was plenty of time for photos. I would really recommend this experience.
