I was given the 'Intro to Indian Cooking course" as a present. I arrived not know a great deal about Indian cooking and with the help of Rayeesa I left knowing enough to now cook a decent Indian meal I think! There was a nice relaxed atmosphere throughout the day, with a mix of demonstrations from Rayessa, cooking in pairs and the occasional thing on your own. The day ended eating the prepared food, which was delicious! Thank you so much Rayeesa and the Seasoned Cookery School staff. Good day, good fun and learnt a lot... I would certainly recommend!

The Sourdough course with Andy Tyrrell was superb and we were sent home with a starter so that we can continue to make the delicious sourdough bread. We made a variety of loaves to take home and written full instructions were given. The lunch was extensive and gorgeous. Highly recommendable.

What a fantastic day and experience. My daughters bought me a course at Seasoned - "Men in the Kitchen", I had cooked a bit but wasnt sure what to expect. Adam who led the course and was our Chef for the day was absolutely fantastic - made things really simple, taught the attendees many new things and helped us all produce some wonderful food and go away with confidence in our new found capabilities. He was ablely support by Caroline & Hayley who quitely went about making sure everything was organised, tidy and cleared away - they did a great job. The attendees were mixed from backgrounds and of course due to the nature of the course - all men but they were a great bunch and I think all thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The location and facilities are excellent and would I recommend Adam and his team - absolutely - they made the day really enjoyable and a great experience. Will I book a further course, very likely and this time what will be different is that I will be booking for myself rather than as a present. Really recommend.

My husband I attended the Artisan cooking day on 22 January 2017 hosted by Tim Maddams. It was an truly wonderful experience. We have watched many of Tim's programmes on TV and also visited River Cottage and the River Cottage Canteen in Axminster when Tim was working there. My husband bought me the cooking experience day as a Christmas present which was a wonderful surprise. We were not disappointed the day was fabulous. Tim is an excellent host and chef and immediately placed everyone at ease. We learned so much from the day and came away with lots of ideas and recipes. I cannot recommend this cooking school enough. We are planning to return already in the summer time. There are a huge variety of different courses you really are spoilt for choice. Also Claire the business owner was a real pleasure to chat to and also her lovely assistant Harriet. Looking forward to our next visit already.

I've recently been to seasoned and taken part in Brendan lynch is baking showstoppers. the whole day was great from start to finish all the staff were also great in make you feel at ease

A most enjoyable experience, Brendon was an excellent instructor who passed on useful tips, gave clear easy to follow instructions and written recipes. The facilities were excellent and well equipped

As a man with average culinary ability I was slightly sceptical as to whether cookery courses would be for me. Happily I was totally incorrect and the seasoned team put you at ease immediately. I have been on three courses now and they seem to be well structured, and are able to engage and educate all levels of ability.
Venue is superb and really adds to the occasion of a good day out.
If your looking for a great food related experience I throuroughly recommend it. I fully intend to go back, and I will be buying my foodie friends and business contacts courses as presents - what a superb and different gift.

What a super way to spend a sunny day with Tim and the Catton estate team - foraging and feasting - smoked mackerel was delicious and we had such fun making focaccia , then to finish off with a super 3 course meal sitting with tremendous other fellow foodies was just great, will definitely return :-)

My husband and I attended the culinary confidence day. I ate things I would normally turn my nose up and genuinely enjoyed them (mackerel pate and salmon fillets) I really want to try and eat more oily fish so this was perfect. The soda bread was tasty and easy to make. The day flowed well, learned so much, new skills and techniques for chopping and seasoning. I definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to broaden their cooking techniques.
