During a Belper drinking session this was a good pub with agreat atmosphere on the main road through Belper to visit, very good choices of alcohol served by friendly staff, traditional English pub décor, well worth a pint.

Great place for a few pints in Belper. The landlady is very nice indeed and helpful on our visit. Good atmosphere and some nice beers. We will definitely go back next time we visit the area.

Decent pub on the main road through Belper, excellent choice of beers provided by a friendly staff in a pleasant atmosphere, olde worlde style décor inside, well worth a pint.

The staff and customers all made us feel totally welcome. The ales were well kept and delicious and the prices are quite reasonable. The covered yard is a bonus. We will definitely be back!

We were staying in Belper for a hen do,popped in to ask for a local taxi firm,bar staff were so helpful ringing firms for us.had a drink while we were waiting,staff wouldn't have been more friendly or helpful
