We attended the build a Lego frog workshop. Great value for only £3 . Both boys 7 & 15 years really enjoyed it . All staff very friendly and helpful and chatted to the boys with genuine interest.

I took my grandchildren here once. Never again .Advertised as one thing and this wasn't even showing. Very expensive and not brilliantly staffed either.I'm a whitehaven person and I appreciate these places have to be funded. ...leave this place got the visitors to our town.

Very good interactive museum. Things of interest for all the family. Stunning views too. We had lunch at the bisto which was very reasonably priced.

Lovely experience at the Beacon. Party included a septuagenarian and a teenager. Moving world war 1 exhibit. Interactive experiences included presenting the weather and steering a ship. The vantage point looking over Whitehaven harbour was beautiful.

Yes it's generally the same as the museum (4.30pm) although they occasionally host evening events.
