Wonderful walk up Gummers How quite a simple climb. Two children 10 & 12 managed without much trouble sensible walking shoes are a must. Views at the summit are well worth the climb. Don’t forget your camera !!

Stunning views of Windermere from the top of the hill. We walked with our two daughters aged 6 and 8. They were absolutely thrilled to the see the views of Lake and mountains from the top.

This is a great short hike which has panoramic stunning views from the top. The hike towards the end can be a little tricky which involves climbing over rocks that can be slippery. A great place to view the lakes and take photographs.

Steady up hill run from dodds howe, fairly accessible bar the last quarter mile which was a bit of a rocky scramble. Immense views on a sunny day, well worth the effort, could have stayed for hours. Would have been a nightmare if I'd tried...More

One of the best views in the lake district, earned from one of the easier climbs. Just up Rowland bridge road from fell foot park at the bottom of lake Windermere. There is a car park and a few spaces at side of road near...More
