A long climb up here after first walking up to Grisedale Tarn but well worth it for the views. A good high level alternative to the scarier Striding Edge !

Go from Patterdale up to Grizedale Tarn, turn left and up and back round down to Brotherswater for a good walk with great views.

Took this hill as part of the last leg of a horseshoe around Helvellyn. In cloud, strong wind and driving rain so sadly no views 😏 However, below the cloud at Birks the views were great so will need to return.

Another great walk from Patterdale, you can do it short just the Crag or do it long and extend to do the Fairfield horseshoe and as ever get great views
