We'll be going back with family!

We stopped in on our way home and it is great for all ages. Very big farm and garden shop. We spotted a big playground so will be returning with my nieces!

I visit Wheelock Hall Farm regular to buy there gorgeous farm sausage and amazing fresh bread! However when I visited recently I took a friend so the two of us could sit and have a coffee and a cake and a 'good ole chat' in peace and within a lovely environment. This is a place suitable for people of all... More

Used to be Free entry to their park area and to look around animals , it worked out ok as everyone/we would buy their fresh farm veg etc from shop so they still made money , but not as good now as they soon cottoned on and started charging to use the park on site and go around the animals... More

Spent a lovely Saturday afternoon here. Tearooms are lovely, a good size with a nice range of reasonably priced food and cake. The place was quite busy with lots of small children, plenty to keep them amused including a playground, farm animals and a soft play area, all of which are accessible for a few of £5 per child, free... Been a regular visitor here over last few years and it used to be brilliant. However £5 is steep per child now when it used to be free and cafe is also not as good. Toasted tea cake not toasted, cheese on toast (on bread) and slow service.

Recommended by a friend to go so we went. 45min drive from where we live so prob wouldn't go again but it's worth a visit. Plenty of parking so no probs there. Free for adults to get it and £5 per child. Paying for the child gets you access to a large outdoor play area with an assault course/swings/slides etc,... More

Recommended by a friend so went for a visit today. Really surprised by how much there is to do here if you have children! The okay area is HUGE and so much fun for kiddies of all ages. Loved the animal barn, the calves, pigs and goats all really cute and looked very well cared for and content. There are... More

Visited today with my two year old son and my parents. Put in a really basic food order and had to wait 1hr 15mins for two out of fours items to arrive, another 15mins for the third and after another 15mins the fourth still hadn't reached the table. During the wait my son got tired and irritated so my Dad... More

Need to learn some basic hygiene rules. Cake counter left open with flies hoping from cake to cake. A big open bucket of chips left outside kitchen door, more flies insects to settle , also where cars park and people passing , coughing and spreading germs. Play area now expensive.

The play area at Wheelock Hall is great for kids of all ages (and adults!) as is the straw bales where kids can climb to their hearts content. There are also animals to see and feed. Access to the play area is good value for the amount of activities in there. Very large farm shop on site too. Cafe can... More
