Popped in to this little gem quite by accident. The atmosphere inside this much loved church was clear to see. The stained glass is obviously old and depicts some wonderful scenes. The cemetery was a little overgrown and lots of head stones no longer readable...More

Had a few minutes walking through the beautiful graveyard, where you can read on the headstones the history of this area. The old Norman Chapel next to the church shows you how long there has been a church here. Peaceful and sublime. Take a minute...More

Very peaceful setting. Rather beautiful old building that dates back to Norman times. Much larger than I had imagined

Probably the most peaceful and lovely graveyard you can visit. Graves dating back to 1600 with wonderful hand cut typography, the Church is lovely, the Norman Chapel delightful. Walk the dog, take a moment.

St Peter's is a well cared for and delightful church. On the premises there is a Saxon Cross, which as history dictates, gave way to a Norman Chapel. Both are well worth viewing.

This is a gem of a church in the centre of Prestbury. The church has a interesting history but don’t forget to look at the grave yard and read some of the head stones fascinating to get a glimpse of peoples lives.
