PLEASE NOTE THAT ALTHOUGH THE GARDENS ARE OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK, THE HALL IS ONLY OPEN TO THE PUBLIC ON TUESDAYS, SUNDAYS AND BANK HOLIDAYS. Arley is a place of enormous character, charm and interest. Visitors are frequently struck by the warm and intimate atmosphere and the feeling that Arley is a much-cherished family home. The Gardens, which are amongst the finest in Britain, are outstanding for their vitality, variety and historical interest and are particularly celebrated for the magnificent double herbaceous border. The Hall is an impressive example of a Victorian country house built in the Elizabethan style.

A spur of the moment visit on an overcast day. Had an absolutely amazing experience, despite the gloomy weather the perfumes from the lilies, sweet peas and roses was just devine. I am really going to have to go back on a lovely sunny day. I spent 4-1/2 hours wandering around and still didn't get to see it all. So... More

We held our wedding at Arley Hall last Friday, what an utterly amazing experience, one we shall never forget. It was a small intimate gathering of 21 people and 2 babies, we had exclusive use of the hall for the day and married in the garden, the herbaceous border at 4pm. The management of the event from both Arley staff... More

Linda and Mike, Thank you so much for your kind words. I will make sure every single member of the team reads them. Your photos look amazing, there is nothing quite like getting married in the herbaceous borders. I hope we'll see lots of you both in the future. Steve More

The house was closed so we were only able to visit the gardens which were absolutely stunning. We arrived around lunchtime, had a very yummy meal in the restaurant (the salad was so very fresh, obviously it had just been picked) and we spent most of the afternoon meandering around the gardens which were in full bloom. What a wonderfully... More

Last time we visited, the house was closed and so we only got to see the gardens. We double checked the website to make sure the house was open for our second visit. It is a beautiful property and well worth coming back to see. A lovely gentleman in one of the downstairs rooms was very well informed and a... More

We discovered the tea rooms at Arley a couple of years ago and often walked there and would reward ourselves with lunch and maybe a glass of wine. We had high hopes when the new caters took over and renovated the premises but we're so disappointed with the changes. No longer waitress service ,just a counter to queue at ,the... More

Good afternoon, Thank you for taking the time to review Arley Hall and our new café. I will investigate your issues with our catering manager, the pricing of the wine was definitely wrong. We have a lot of new staff and the menu in The Gardener's Kitchen is still under review so your comments are valuable to us as we... More

The garden is absolutely fantastic [for me probably the best]. There are so many aspects to it; from greenhouse, walled gardens, herbaceous borders [possibly the first ever in Britain] and the rootree. You can walk along the Grove and find interesting sculptures. The house was rebuilt in Victorian times but there are Tudor barns still there.

A group of 8 attended Arley Halls music festival night for a hen night and had the best time! Getting into the establishment was very quick and easy as was leaving. Everyone was having a great time drinking, eating and dancing to some brilliant bands and tribute acts. Well done to all involved in making it a spectacular, safe, fun... More

I visited with a relative who had to be pushed in a wheel chair - never again! This attraction is totally unsuitable for wheel chairs with cobbled yards and gravel paths. The gardens were pleasant enough but nothing spectacular for the time of year and having pushed the wheel chair to the 'Fish Garden' we found there were no fish... More

Lovely well-kept gardens, with stunning variety of plants. Well tended borders and lawns. The fragrance from the roses has to be experienced to be believed. Also ate in the restaurant - nice food, service was a bit slow, but a very nice day out. Didn't go in the Hall as this was a seoarate additional cost.
