PLEASE NOTE THAT ALTHOUGH THE GARDENS ARE OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK, THE HALL IS ONLY OPEN TO THE PUBLIC ON TUESDAYS, SUNDAYS AND BANK HOLIDAYS. Arley is a place of enormous character, charm and interest. Visitors are frequently struck by the warm and intimate atmosphere and the feeling that Arley is a much-cherished family home. The Gardens, which are amongst the finest in Britain, are outstanding for their vitality, variety and historical interest and are particularly celebrated for the magnificent double herbaceous border. The Hall is an impressive example of a Victorian country house built in the Elizabethan style.

Although our visit was at the end of September these gardens still had a lot of interest and colour to offer. Each themed section of the garden led onto something different so, unlike some gardens, your interest was always maintained and the vistas and views were constantly changing. The main gardens are suitable for most weathers and abilities, the grove... More

I visit Arley Hall regularly- in fact am a 'Friend' as I think the Gardens and Plant Nursery are unsurpassed. However the new catering is a disgrace- food dry and nothing to appeal - how hard is it to make a fresh sandwich which is not all bread and has not been sitting on display? The layout is poor for... The Hall, gardens, cafe and plant nursery present such a delightful visit that my friend and I have bought season tickets to allow us to make the most of return visits.

Absolutely loved our day out here. Stunning gardens and views, incredible house with lots of interesting nooks and crannies and a first class cafe. The Gardener's Kitchen really does sell top notch homemade imaginative food and is of a standard that would put most other cafes to shame ! Well worth a visit.

My son got married here and we all came again to celebrate my daughter in law's birthday. Fabulous grounds and informative tour of the property was followed by afternoon tea in the Hall's lovely library ( Tommy Shelby's office to Peaky Blinder fans) - it was also where my son and daughter in law signed the register so it was... I came to Arley Hall here recently with my sister just to visit the cafe. We had a most enjoyable lunch of sandwich with side salad plus coffee for me and a pot of tea for her. The food was very fresh with a choice of fillings for the sandwiches and choices of salads to go with them. Generous proportions... More
