PLEASE NOTE THAT ALTHOUGH THE GARDENS ARE OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK, THE HALL IS ONLY OPEN TO THE PUBLIC ON TUESDAYS, SUNDAYS AND BANK HOLIDAYS. Arley is a place of enormous character, charm and interest. Visitors are frequently struck by the warm and intimate atmosphere and the feeling that Arley is a much-cherished family home. The Gardens, which are amongst the finest in Britain, are outstanding for their vitality, variety and historical interest and are particularly celebrated for the magnificent double herbaceous border. The Hall is an impressive example of a Victorian country house built in the Elizabethan style.

Maybe beacause it was freezing and raining that we have not given this many stars but there was alos some sort of Hunt congregating there at the time we visited and everything else seemed to take a back seat to looking after these. Didn't find the grounds that interesting and the sculptures not worth looking at .

Great place for a stroll whatever the season. Improvements in the restaurant have completed the picture at Arley. The food is of an extremely high standard. Treat yourself to a Sunday walk and a roast dinner!

Picturesque family Manor Estate. Gorgeous maintained gardens to wander round. House open for viewing - dream your way around the past from room to room. Food and beverages for your repast... very good. Something for everyone - take your own picnic and make a day of it. Well worth a visit. Seek out The Cock at Great Budworth not far... More

Visited on a cold and grey Sundag afternoon in February and spent a fab time wandering around the gardens and woodland areas. The hall itself is very impressive, there's lots of history here. We went to the cafe and were lucky enough to make it in time for a Sunday roast which was excellent, we were surprised by the quality... More

Perfect place for a small child to run around and let off steam in a beautiful spot so great for grown-ups too. The playground is very well equipped and there is plenty of space to run around. So many places rope off their grassy areas in the winter so it was great that we could play all sorts of adventures... More

Described as an Victorian Jacobean Hall; the award winning gardens are the highlight of the visit featuring a Grotto, tree lined paths, pool, a walled garden and even a Tennis court. There are areas set aside for wildlife and picnics and all of the paths are well maintained. Spring is the best time to visit. Like the gardens, the Hall... More

The whole complex of house and gardens are well worth the time to visit. The house is full of period artifacs and the staff are very helpfull. The gardens are well cared for and it great to wander round....when its sunny. There are cafe's and shops.

We are lucky to live about 600 yards from Arley Hall so we get to visit often. Arley Garden Festival in June is always worth visiting. The displays are always impressive and its a lovely day out for the whole family especially as its often sunny in June. Once a year, usually August, The Lord Chamberlain's Men visit to perform a... More

My husband and I enjoyed our visit to Arley Hall last night. The floral displays in each room were lovely and the ladies choir who sang carols and Christmas songs were marvellous. Very entertaining. There was a lovely atmosphere. The front of the hall looked very impressive illuminated with a beautiful purple glow.
