Sitting in the old cobbled yard under the big copper beech, taking five minutes, and watching the swallows - whilst devouring a Snugburys Ice Cream is one of life's great pleasures. I guess that is why thousands of people come time after time to get their fix as they say :)Here at Snugburys we are not only famous for our ice cream, we also attract tens of thousands of visitors every summer to come and admire our huge straw sculptures. These impressive creations stand tall in our field along side the A51. Previous creations have included a 36 ft Meerkat and a working model of London’s Big Ben!

Due to it's popularity an limited parking, during the summer months it can become extremely congested. As it is also set on a farm, there is not the infrastructure to accommodate the sheer number of visitors, meaning that once you've managed to find somewhere to...More

We were on our way to Chester when we saw the signs...thank goodness. I can't believe we hadn't heard about this before. Yummy ice cream and efficient, if a bit lack lustre, service. The setting is lovely too. And they have pigs!!

we stopped here today on the way back from holiday and i must say the ice creams are amazing so many different flavours the only downside would be nice if there were more benches outside to sit at when you have a hot drink

Lots of choice of ice creams, very popular place on a nice day - there can often be queues, but they have plenty of staff to serve you. The straw sculpture is an interesting thing to see, and the pigs and goats are entertaining. My...More

Hi It's free to enter, and there is a car park which is also free, the car park isn't overly huge but no-one seemed to be queuing for a space we visited on a hot Saturday afternoon.

Hi Vonandgez, They are indeed! We have a farm walk which loops round from the ice cream shop to the Llangollen canal. Enjoy!
