Sitting in the old cobbled yard under the big copper beech, taking five minutes, and watching the swallows - whilst devouring a Snugburys Ice Cream is one of life's great pleasures. I guess that is why thousands of people come time after time to get their fix as they say :)Here at Snugburys we are not only famous for our ice cream, we also attract tens of thousands of visitors every summer to come and admire our huge straw sculptures. These impressive creations stand tall in our field along side the A51. Previous creations have included a 36 ft Meerkat and a working model of London’s Big Ben!

If you live in the area and have children, or heck, even if you dont - how can you not like Snugburys Superb ice cream in a dizzying array of flavours. Turn up, walk around the lovely grounds enjoying your cone and leave. That's it - but that is all it needs to be. Beware crowds in summer though -... More

We happily queued 20 minutes for the wonderful ice cream in loads of different and imaginative flavours. As usual a highlight was the walk to see the straw sculpture. Our children see this as a summer must do!!!

I love Snugburys! The ice cream is made on the premises with lots of flavours to chose from. The queue in peak times can look quite long but they serve you super quick and its well worth the 5 minute wait. Whilst you are looking eating your ice crea you can take a walk up to the straw sculpture which... More

If you are an ice cream lover then you will enjoy Snugbury's. Made on the premises, lots of flavours to choose from too. Coffee and tea available too. Each year a sculpture is created in the field to represent an occasion. This year it is Peter Rabbit to mark the centenary

If you are cutting cross-country between the M6 at Stoke-on-Trent and Chester along some very tedious single carriageway roads, Snugbury's provides a really good opportunity to take a break in delightful surroundings with the added attraction of some startlingly good ice cream. The grounds of the old farmhouse, still with its ha-ha and intricately leaded windows, are relaxing, and the... More

I am the biggest ice cream fan and this place is honestly amazing. The staff were so friendly and even let me try 6 different flavours because i couldn't decide what to get. I settled on their famous honeycomb and the Creme brûlée which I would highly recommend!

My partner was giving me a tour of his hometown and he was so excited to show me Snugburys! Greeted by the huge straw Peter Rabbit and pigs and goats in the pens outside, the small farmhouse-style icecream shop was a dream. Every flavour you can imagine, they had. I had a damson and gin scoop and a Turkish delight... More

Spent a lovely couple of hours with friends staying with us, enjoying ice cream and piping hit coffee. Needs more outside seating to sit and soak up the atmosphere.
