The park has undergone extensive restoration helped by volunteers. It is a beautiful example of Victorian civic pride. Somewhere to go when the weather is good.

Massive investment leading to massive improvements. Getting back to its former glory. Paths are the latest renewal project.

Lovely park. Play equipment is great for the kids. Lovely big lake with boats. Great for a walk or playing outside sports. Also fab for picnics in the summer.

Large park not far from the town centre. Free to enter the park all year round. Great place to watch local wildlife, birds and squirrels especially. Really nice walk especially round the lake.

Could be a first class park but it needs finishing. The new areas are fantastic. Once summer comes and the flowers come out its well worth a visit. Cafe is good but a lot more could be made of it.
