Friendly staff and regulars. The beer is very well kept so very much worth a visit. Jukebox, pool, darts with sports on TV, what's not to love.

Pleasant traditional pub on the eastern exit road from this old market town. Friendly, busy on our visit and offering a selection including well kept real ales. Affable buzz. This seems to be a bit of an hub for local sports teams.
