It was a really nice pub, we went out on a weekend night with friend and the vibe was cosy and warm!

Off the beaten track so not much passing trade but let's hope you find this one day and sample the steak night. No more sitting at the table wondering how the steak will arrive. It comes out the way you order it. Just need a...More

What a dump! Very dark, dingy and dirty rats hole. The food is Iceland deep fried crap, dumped on a dirty chipped plate and then dumped on the table. Cutlery and glassware very dirty. I for one will not be going back!

A small pub, nestled in this charming village by the Green, so there's not a lot of seating. They serve my favourite beer, which was great after our long walk. After a few pints we ordered a bowl of thin and a bowl of fat...More

Hi Countrygirl1988 Sorry to hear this about one of my staff. Could you please let me know which Sunday you came in and was it a male or female bar person? I shall make sure it doesn't happen again regards Ian

I went with my family for a meal. Staff were very friendly and the food was excellent. I loved the dessert I had which was sticky toffee pudding.

Beautiful and dining experience, and lovely food and excellent service, saturday night steak deal, beautiful and tender steaks but food on the cool side, little bit hotter would have been better, but have been here before and will go again.

Good service, nice decor, good generally good, although the peas were awful. Nice choice of puddings. One of our party enjoyed the local beer options on tap.
