A bird handling taster for two gift voucher was purchased for my wife and me. After trying to book on an event we finally managed to get on the on the one being held at the Mole Trap. It is clearly a very popular event and understandably so. Unfortunately, I did not get the falconers name but she was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable and evidently loved her job. I would recommend the taster session as it is an great way to see, learn a bit and handle birds of prey. The birds behaved themselves and the location was very nice. A brilliant morning out and the time flew by.

A great experience getting up close and personal with owls, bald eagles, falcons etc. Having them fly to you and perch on your arm is surreal, especially Denzil the bald eagle. It was a very hot afternoon, no cover for us or the birds and 'host' Laura, who was brilliant, bubbly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable, letting us all have time with the birds and to also interact with her in both asking questions and answering her questions. Recommend it to anyone remotely interested in birds of prey

Had an amazing day today with my helicopter experience at Lydd airport today. Booked up the thrill seekers experience and it was as good as I hope. The staff was friendly polite and professional we was flying through the air at 150 mph turning left and right up and down just amazing well worth the money and I will book up another one in the future

Helicopter tour that never happened as it is impossible to book due to no availablity. Customer service and communication with this organisation is near impossible, all communication is directed through the contact us form on the website. In the past 12 months there has been no option to book a flight and I get regular emails from the waiting list that say "We're still working on additional dates your Experience". The voucher was purchased through Buy a gift who have said they will give a refund if Adventure001 release the voucher, which they have messaged that they will only do if 3 flights are cancelled - which is never going to happen as I cannot book even 1. Do yourself a favour, do not buy this as a gift for anyone.

AVOID! This company is a joke! We received a voucher for a helicopter experience. We booked our chosen venue in conwy and it was cancelled on the day due to ‘technical issues’- we were told to rearrange. However our voucher was only extended until January when the flying season isn’t even happening so would be unable to reschedule within the time they extended to!! I’ve not logged in to try and rearrange again and our venue is no longer available so we would have to travel over 100 miles to the nearest place AND they’ve the check to say we need to pay to extend our voucher!! Even though it was their issue that caused the need for it to be extended! Heard nothing from customer service - can’t find number to contact anyone over the phone. Overall save your money and avoid at all costs

I bought the Helicopter Experience at Lands End, as a wedding anniversary present, for my husband who had never been in a helicopter.
We arrived 10 minutes early and we were told that there was a 15 minute delay due to the weather earlier in the day.
So we went and got a cup of coffee as we were told that by doing so we wouldn't have to pay for parking.
Our check in time came and went. Our scheduled delayed flight, A9, time came and went.
We moved table to sit by the window which was also nearer to the "Check In". We could overhear the Check In chap who was busy upselling the experience. A flight "Just for the two of you," "A longer flight experience."
My husband went and checked only to be told we were now on A12. So we patiently waited and we would be brifed at 13.20.
Our original flight time had been 12.40
Meanwhile flights were taking off every 12 minutes or so so A12 must have gone.
Our briefing time came and went.
So my husband checked once more, we would be briefed shortly.
I realised that they were bumping people off so that those who had paid extra were going 1st.
I then said this to my husband in a very loud voice, which was heard by everyone in a very full cafe !!
Oh what a surprise we were suddenly on the next flight.
The flight was good but it was totally spoilt by the fact that we had been bumped off flights for over an hour.
The final insult was the fact that there was only 2 hours free parking so we were forced into paying car parking charges.

Birthday gift brought for me via Buy A Gift. Firstly unable to redeem the gift voucher at one of the named locations near where we live unless we paid an upgrade so had to select a airfield some 65 miles away. Sold as 30min experience with view of the London skyline, turned out to be 10 min flight the rest of the experience we were told is the safety briefing and the walk to and from the helicopter, the London skyline was there in the background somewhere 50 miles away.

On the morning of the flight asked to contact via phone number to ensure flight was operating however number is premium rate at £1.20 per minute to hear a recorded message.

Our flight has now been cancelled 4 times! (Chatsworth Flight) I booked nearly 2 years ago. My kids get excited in the run up to the flight and then hugely disappointed when I have to tell them it's been cancelled, I didn't tell then the last time just in case it was cancelled yet again as I didn't want to disappoint them. They keep sending emails trying to get me to upgrade and pay more (emails you can't reply to). They extend the voucher then send dates to book that are after the end of the extension. They don't respond to emails, they don't return you phone calls. There is no customer service at all. I am not even asking for compensation, I just want my money back- £380!!
We were so looking forward to this once in a lifetime experience but the total lack of response and zero customer service is disgraceful.

First things first upon calling adventure 001 they priced matched Groupon. It was easy to book for me and my partner despite their website not giving the option to book for two and was able to book the date and time required.
However the day before I realised we'd been booked into a different center than I thought I'd booked not sure if this was my error or the companies but this meant a three hour drive to the venue.
We went to clifton Aviation and we'll we had the quick 10 minute video and was told the pilot wouldn't be long. Bearing in mind we arrived at 1.40 and the flight was scheduled for 2.
The pilot did not return until after three and then the cabin was full of people having got back and people waiting for one of the two pilots.
Finally we managed to get going at around 3.20 and the pilot told the other he had to be back for 4. Which given we had half hour each wsrnt going to happen...
The pilot allowed us to taxi to the runway and took off before giving us full control of the plane. ✈. In all it was an enjoyable experience.
However it was very delayed day given we were the only ones there when we arrived and kept getting told it would be 5 minutes, 5 minutes more...
Also its cheaper to book directly with the flight schools that usually offer flights for £99 each with the passenger being allowed whilst the other flight so something to look into before paying extra.

Wouldn’t use again- multiple rearranges and changes to bookings, and eventually not the site I booked at, had to travel over 2 hours. Had to call to listen to a pre recorded message on the day and got charged £5 for the privilege. No answer on social media to confirm flight so had to call again before setting off for another phone charge and no update on the pre recorded message so had to travel and hope for the best.
Got there on the day check in process was a bit chaotic, told to bring ID and utility bill and waste of time, not checked at all. Lady came back and apologised for check in and was very nice with it.
Helicopter flight very short, not worth the 4 hours in the car with the children lol😵💫

1. Do you think it is acceptable not to answer questions sent to you via email and completely ignore them once a customer has placed an order with you ?
2. Why is it you do not have a contingency plan in place for days when flights maybe cancelled due to weather or technical issues.
3. Why are the next available dates after cancellation offered at least 6-8 months ahead. When you can still purchase earlier dates through your web site if you pay again ?
4. Can you explain why you do not offer the option of a refund when you can't provide the service paid for cancellation after cancellation leaving paying customers waiting possibly years to complete their "Flying Experience"

Hello, I have booked the 6 mile experience. If anyone can help, how long in total are we suppose to be there for... I just saw someone post 3 hours in total?? surely not for a 5 minute helicopter ride?

Wait time can vary depending on the number of people that day. For us we arrived 10/15 mins before our schedule flight. Which meant we waited a little longer as some may have checked in before us. But I would say no more than an hour.
You wait for the debrief then another 5/10 minutes to the flight. A few photos will be taken which you can see after the flight.

Hi. I have a buzz flight booked for 15th July. Your terms state no handbags are allowed on the flight. How are bags stored? Or can we take money and personal items in a small clear bag? We are bringing passports etc for Id. Thanks

No hand bags the first time I booked I rang them and asked to make sure what I.could take in helicopter only my phone and record d the flight thats it its for safety reasons once you get in helicopter strap you in safe next to pilot front seats way better I paid Extra 10 quid to sit in front seat Excellent day met will meller singed photography I bought 2 10 pound each what one of the staff take before you go in helicopter then get in helicopter then fly once down on the ground they get you out safe thats why nobody s allowed to take a lot in helicopter unfortunately safety but awesome flight sorry about late reply dont come on here not in less I get email to help someone if they need help I dint get email or I could of helped you first time you asked no email to me or could of helped you thanks for asking tho even tho its ages back now,

Recently had a helicopter flight from North Weald which was advertised as a 12 minute flight with lunch. However, when we presented the lunch vouchers to the canteen staff we were told they only entitled us to £5 off and not the whole meal! This was not stated anywhere on any emails or website and neither were there any meals available for £5! As I'd purchased the flight package for 6 people I then had to pay another £20 so we could actually each have lunch!! Very misleading and spoilt an otherwise enjoyable day. Have to say the food was lovely and plenty of it but the hygiene left a lot to be desired - metal lids from the carvery were placed on the dirty floor when food was being served.

My flight experience did not involve any food offer, so I cannot comment. UK airfields usually have cafes for private pilots etc. and aero club members; they are not, in my experience, dining venues. Happy landings... next time keep food off the menu!!

It is showing on your website as a bottle of prosecco not half bottle as you state. Adventure001 still have it on their web site.
We purchased this December 2015 so promotion was for bottle of prosecco
I have booked the flight experience for my son. It says under 18's must be accompanied by an adult. He is 16. Does that mean I have to pay for an extra person or just be there at the site? It's not very clear and now I am worried as didn't notice it earlier. Thanks.
