I read the reviews for this excursion, and convinced my husband to 'ride the rim', in order to see the sights from a different angle and experience. Now...I've never driven an all-terrain vehicle, I was scared to fail, I'm in my 50's, and yet, this group of lads made us feel welcome and confident. The lessons were great; the ride... More

Omar, Caleb and Uncle gave us one of the best tours we had on the island. Our party of 13 all felt we got our money's worth. Not only did we have a great time driving our ATV's around the rim, we enjoyed our dip under the waterfall with snacks and also appreciated the history Omar told our group, while... More

ATV a trail through the rain forest and be certain to add on the swim under a waterfall. Muddy but oh so fun! AND the guide teaches you all about the history of the Waipio Valley, the plants, etc., at the pitstops.

We had a nice time on this ATV tour. It was a little bit rainy, so we didn't get to see all of the sights that the guides had in mind, but they also provided all the necessary gear to stay dry. All of the tour guides were extremely friendly and very knowledgable. We witnessed a beautiful view of the... More

Ride the Rim is an exciting way to see sights that are not visible from other areas. We rode the buggy and our driver, Heidi, was excellent. She gave us an amazing ride and tour. She is native to the island and was so informative on the vegetation. She asked us if we minded getting muddy and as we did... More

Took the wife and kids and we rented a newer 4-person Honda 1000 that I was allowed to drive. ALL the employees were wonderful - had a blast with them. You get to see the Waipi'o Valley from above which is a really unique place in the world. They were all locals who knew everything about the valley's history. Book... More

Our guides were Les, Pat & Omar - They were wonderful. They have wonderful knowledge of the culture and the land that they share. They are very passionate about it and it shows. The information they share is amazing. They are also funny and share different stories as the tour continues. I would definitely recommend this tour. The Waipi'o Valley... More

Great guides, we had Jeff in our buggy as our guide/driver. He was so pleasant to chat with and tell us about the area. Two of our group chose to ride ATV's and had a lovely time getting very muddy which they loved. The views are absolutely lovely and the history was presented so well by the guides. They were... We did this on the most perfect day to be out in the valley. The weather was amazing. It starts by checkin in at the art store. Don't be put off or nervous as this is basically a meeting point. After checking in the van picks you up to take you to the barn for a safety briefing, instructions, get... More
