The small pueblo of Xcalak is quiet and the reef is amazing to snorkel. The parque is protected, so there is no netting for fish, and you cannot take any lobster or fish, if you are not in the Co-op, which is good, so the...More

Book a trip with XTC in Xcalak if you get the opportunity. Chinchorro is a top 10 dive spot and shouldn't be missed.

Great diving and croc watching. The park is a 90 minute boat ride from Mahahual and Xcalak, so it's not a quick kayak trip. You'll want to go with an experienced outfit like XTC in Xcalak. They have the most experience and are licensed to...More

A long way from Cancun or Merida by car, but the water is crystal clear and perfect for diving and snorkeling. Those of us who come each year love the paradise that this park represents.

Some of the best diving and snorkeling in the world! Close-in and shallow reef system allows for easy access snorkeling for all. Outstanding diving as well and eagle rays for days!

The small town of Xcalak is on the Caribbean coast, on a peninsula and is 20 miles north of Belize. It boasts great fishing (Tarpon, Permit, Bonefish, Barracuda) snorkeling from shore and access many of the same diving areas that Belize is famous for.

A great place. Very little people. Gorgeous flats. Great fly fishing, snorkeling and diving. If you truly want to get away from it all, this is the place.

Amazing variety of fish, rays, etc and easy to access by kayak, as the barrier keeps the larger surf at bay. So lucky to have experienced it!
