Chichen Itza is an ancient Maya city in Mexico that was abandoned in the 15th century. Now a UNESCO World Heritage-listed archaeological park, its intact temples, and famous stepped pyramids may be explored during this comprehensive guided tour, which tops off fun-filled history lessons with a visit to the colonial town of Valladolid and a swim in a sacred limestone waterhole. A savory buffet lunch is also included.

Pretty cathedral to walk into while walking around the town square. Must be respectful of those worshipping. Walking around is about five minutes so it does not take long to visit but is worth going in. No admission.

Another one of those Cathedrals, always more impressive from the outside than the inside! Well worth a series of pictures at different times of the day from every possible angle!

The church was closed when we were in town, but it was nice to walk around the park square and visit all the stores around.
