My family did this as an excursion from a cruise ship. We started off the ship at 7:30 a.m. due to the on board time being 1:30 in the afternoon. It was pretty chilly on the ride over as the resort provides an open air trolley behind a pickup truck as transportation to the park.

When we got to the park, it was still kind of cold to get in the water, but we were able to find lounge chairs and a place to base our stuff. There are lockers available for personal belongings for $5 cash. The park was clean and there were no lines to any of the attractions longer than 2-3 people (not my general experience with other water parks). Also, the zip lines did not have lines of people.

I was leery of wearing the RFID wrist band (a way for the park to track you in their automatic cameras) around the park, but my wife ended up liking the photos that were taken around the water park and bought the entire package for $25.

Overall a good value and fun time.

Side note, I was also thinking of doing a one day SCUBA dive on my own at this location. Based on the water clarity, I think that would have been a good time as well.

We have a large age group, ranging from 7-40 years of age. The boys had a great time zip lining. The younger kids enjoyed the child water park. The slides were perfect! There's a section of relaxing pools, they are shaded and a beautiful waterfall is behind them. Then there's the big tower slides, definitely great for thrill seekers. We had a great time here, staff were amazing and very friendly.

The park is obviously very well kept and is themed throughout beautifully. The offer of the attractions they have are very good but are honestly very limited. The park was quiet so no queues were a positive, but on the day we went one slide was closed knocking out a huge part of their limited slide line-up.

Park is $100 USD PP and I wouldn't honestly pay more than $40. The buffet is also priced at $25 PP for a very limited which I believe was extortionate.

Ride hosts and zip line instructors were very friendly and I cannot fault the beauty of the park, however, parting with almost $400 if you are a travelling family of 4 will leave a bitter taste in your mouth by the end.

We had a great time at Lost Mayan Kingdom as a shore excursion from our Royal Caribbean Cruise.
The park is located close to the cruise ship. We took the shuttle there, but deciced to walk back to the ship afterwards.
Park was very clean. Lots of fun activities. Ziplines over the entire park. Several fun water slides. Lines were very quick, althought the walk up the stairs was sometines long ( There is an elevator also)
But also many slides for younger kids. Plenty of chairs, both in the sun and shade.
We will definitely be back again!

We were suppose to go Snorkeling, but the surf was too high, so our excursion was cancelled. We wanted to do something else, like going to the beach. We were told about an excursion with the water park and a beach. My wife was reluctant about the water park, but since there was a beach afterward she gave it a shot. We rented a locker for our valuables and then started on our adventure. We rode all of the water slides and also the lazy river. We had a great time. Lines weren't too bad, so we didn't have to wait long. We just had to walk up a bunch of stairs. There is an elevator, but there was usually a line there, so we took the stairs. My wife had a great time, even though she was reluctant at first. They have cameras set up to take action photos and then tag you based upon a bracelet that you get when you enter. The price for the phtotos wasn't too bad, so we got them.
Would highly recommend. Areas for kids of all ages. We all had a great time.

My intellectually disabled son visited here for the day off a cruise ship while his Dad and I visited Mayan ruins. Our son had a ball, especially on the zip-lining. The staff went out of their way to help him download photos and he talked about the park for days.

This water park was more than expected. While the price is not cheap, the fun is plenty. The water slides are more than legit, honest review, I was even too much of a wuss to do one. The kids had a blast. The zip lines are great, views are amazing, plus they all have water landings, which is pretty cool. Prepare ahead for the food cost, as it is expensive and not good, so maybe eat early and then taxi to town for a good lunch on the beach!

I loved it all!!!
The zip line courses are NOT a disappointment whatsoever! And, you can do them repeatedly throughout the day!
And they even have a zip line coaster!
And being that this is mainly a water park, all zip line courses end with a splashdown into a refreshing lagoon of water; how awesome is that?!?!!!
There is a water slide tower, nearly as good as the one at Atlantis in the Bahamas (just not as 'polished' with decorations, but who cares?).
And the lazy river, feels like you are rafting in a non-dangerous jungle river, as opposed to a man-made fiberglass canal.
Additionally, all of the water is CLEAN!
And, locker rentals are available and highly recommended.
Definitely put this on your list of possible activities for when you expect to be there.
NOTE: same price, no matter if book on the cruise ship or pay at the entrance; but, if you have onboard credit to use, book it onboard.

Loads of Adventure!!!
Seven of us for an adventurous excursion off the cruise ship. Scary water slides and loads of zip lines followed by a lazy river to calm things down.

$99 to walk in. $25 for Buffett food that was sitting out all day! Not many takers for that! Still, a nice break from the cruise.

Went here with my mom , dad, and sister on a cruise shore excursion. BEST. DAY. EVER. The waterslides are insane and leave you wondering how your still alive at the end. I've been to some of the best water parks in America and Canada and haven't found any thrills close to the ones from this park. Park is also very clean and well maintained, pools and paths are awesome!
