Hayhu is an Eco-Luxury Beach Club, totally surrounded by nature, located in front of a beautiful virgin beach with a near Coral Reef that is perfect for snorkeling and other water activities such Kayaking. Just relax and enjoy a premium grilled cuisine and signature drinks on a quiet distant, 5 star beach. We also have a Kiteboarding School, Beach Volleyball, Soccer balls and board games.

We made another trip down to Hayhu and it did not disappoint. The wind was up a bit, so we drove down and had another great experience at Hayhu. Their VIP decks offer amazing views. Their food is always above average and their cocktail menu is enticing. Their 400 Conejos mezcal with orange and tajine was a great experience. A must experience for someone trying to get away from town for a bit.

A place of rustic luxury! Everything about Hayhu has a wonderful vibe. The private decks, the music, the staff, and oh yum, the food is over the top! The beach is one of the most beautiful on the coast. There is kiting on site, whether you take a lesson or just watch. It is a "chill" atmosphere, not a booming party spot which makes it great for everyone, including families. Once you've experienced Hayhu, it will stay in your heart!

Aside from the 30 minute bumpy ride to Hayhul Beach Club, this was an absolutely wonderful day and experience for our extended family. We opted for the VIP Package (had 9 people) and definitely would recommend to bigger groups for exclusive use of a larger cabana and appointed wait staff. The food and drinks were the best of our 5 day cruise overall and all of the staff were very helpful with recommendations and more. My only regret is not being able to spend longer here. Believe the 5-star hype, Hayhul Beach Club fits the bill!

I did a ton a research in picking my first ever excursion, it was my boyfriend and I’s first cruise together, after reading reviews I went ahead and booked with Hayhu and i’m so glad I did!!! As soon as we arrived we were instantly greeted by I believe the owner. He was very kind and showed us around the beach and led us to where we would be relaxing. It was a cute little area that had a comfortable outdoor bed and a wooden covering to get out of the sun. We also got a table to eat at and chairs to get sun in! We were right on the beach. The food is beyond divine, especially their guacamole. You can tell the food was freshly made. I ordered a strawberry daiquiri and my boyfriend got a pina colada, both were very good! The ocean was a little smelly but that’s because of the sargassum seawood that’s invaded a majority of the gulf, so it’s been pilling up on many beaches. So I wish they weren’t there to have easier access to the beach but we made do! I will say that the only negative thing was finding the driver. We could not find them at all and it took about 15-20 minutes of waiting to get found and then be taken to the beach. It is a 30
minute drive and you will lose service on the way there. I didn’t have service on the beach either but that wasn’t a concern for me as I wanted to enjoyed the peace and quiet. Definitely go! We will be back.

We are doing all we can to prevent the algae situations affecting the club but sometimes it’s out of anyone’s control.
That is why we are an eco fiendly beach club and is important to remind everyone all over the world start to Making changes and more conscious and ecofiriendly decisions in our everyday habits.
Regarding finding the driver, unfortunately the port made it super hard to escape their facilities, but we try and help the client as much as we can with the detailed instructions and map to get to meating point that we send in our confirmation message but sometimes when it’s very crowded it gets more complicated.
Next time it will be easier! ;)

I spent the day at Hayhu beach club from the Royal Carribean cruiseport. My fiance had booked it, when i heard we were taking a 20 min taxi ride there ill admit i was a bit nervous of how that would go.
They were EXTREMELY organized, they contacted us immediately on the process. We met our driver Hector right outside of the cruiseport, standing with our names written down on a sign so he was easy to find. He took us there, arrived around 9:30 and it was absolutely beautiful. We had a great relaxing day, enjoying fair priced drinks, hammocks, beach and the great view. It was very clean and private. The manager of Hayhu asked us what time we would like Hector to come back for us, we decided 2:30 would be good. Our same driver as before, Hector arrived at 2:30 on the dot to take us back. It felt very safe, and if i was visiting Costa Maya again i would totally go back to Hayhu. 10/10!

Hayhu was our private getaway from the crowds. Our own private beach. It was fabulous. The service, the food and drinks. Worth the 30 minute drive from the port. We can’t wait To return. We highly recommend this place.

This is an incredible beach club. We were fortunate enough to be the only guests there when we went. The place has a chill vibe with hammocks, lounge chairs, shells, and more all around. The beach was beautiful - their team does a lot of work to clean up the seaweed so it was much better than most other places in the area. The water and sand are beautiful. We loved our stay. The drinks and food were on point too! Just go. It's a little out of town but totally worth it.

Just go! Recently visited while on cruise. We were greeted at the cruise port and driven to the club. Beautiful setting, great drinks, food and massage. The staff were pleasant and attentive. We recommend the grilled lobster. Thank you Andrea and Carlos. Hope to see you again soon!!

The pros:
The beach resort is beautiful, serene, private, quiet, and clean. The ocean water is crystal clear and the perfect temperature. The food was excellent. Service was good.
Cons:
Taxi service that’s included with this excursion if booked through Trip Advisor was NOT good. This is the reason for 3 stars. Our taxi driver, Gabriel, was 30 minutes late to pick us up in the morning which stunk bc our cruise stop in Costa Maya was shortened so we were wanting to take advantage of as much time as possible at this resort since we paid $640 for this excursion for six people and only ended up being at the resort for 2.5 hours total.
The most concerning part of the taxi service was that Gabriel (our taxi driver) was 25 minutes late to pick us up from the resort, which made us late to our ship (Allure of the Seas). It was extremely stressful and maddening because we would have all been stranded in Costa Maya because we didn’t take our passports off the ship with us. We have zero options to get back to the ship as there were no other transportation options from the resort as it is extremely remote and the only person at the resort who had a car was the manager and he wasn’t willing to leave the resort to drive us 30 minutes back to the ship. Our taxi driver did not answer his phone nor did he respond to our messages. He finally arrived at the resort at 12:24PM and our ship was scheduled to leave Costa Maya at 12:30PM so we had six minutes to make it back for a cab ride that took 27 minutes from the terminal to the resort that morning upon our arrival. Gabriel promised us he would not be late to get us, but he was late and it was extremely stressful. Once Gabriel picked us up, he did call the cruise terminals to alert them that he as on his way with six passengers of Allure of the Seas. He drove 160km/hour (100mph) to get us back to port. That was an excursion in and of itself. In the end, we made it to the ship at 12:55PM and were greeted by a ship officer who was waiting for us so we made it on the ship, which we were extremely grateful for.
Also, I highly recommend keeping an eye on your food and beverage tab at the resort. We exceeded our $300 limit and owed an additional $128 USD for our 2.5 hour time at the resort for six people (and two of those people were the only ones drinking alcohol!). The two mimosas we had were made with Tang and were nasty and undrinkable. We ordered the BBQ lunch with lots of meats and that was excellent, but took an hour to cook so make sure you allow time for it to be prepared if you choose to go!
Lesson learned! We won’t book this excursion again simply because of not being able to control the transportation options to guarantee our arrival back to the ship on time. We will also always take our passports with us off the ship from now on because we would have been stuck in Costa Maya had we not made it back to the ship on time!

Beautiful setting and the food was fabulous! Shrimp and avocado appetizer was amazing.
Windsurfers out front were entertaining us on the beach.
